I am writing to bring to your attention the **appalling state of washrooms** and **unprofessional conduct of security personnel** during my recent visit to Guwahati Airport (LGBI) on **June 13, 2025**. My experience was deeply concerning and reflects poorly on the airport’s management. 1. **Unhygienic Washrooms** - The washrooms, both in arrival and departure areas, were in a **pathetic condition**, with cleanliness standards far below expectations for an international airport . - Despite claims of frequent sanitization , the reality was starkly different, with visible neglect. 2. **Security Lapses** - **Genders misusing facilities**: A male individual abruptly entered the female washroom while I was washing my hands, causing distress. Shockingly, this was ignored by nearby security staff. - Negligent security personnel.The washroom attendant (a female employee) was asleep, and the male security guard stationed nearby was engrossed in his mobile phone instead of monitoring the area . 3. **Lack of Accountability** - No proactive measures were taken to prevent such incidents, despite the airport’s emphasis on "barrier-free access" and passenger safety .

Cab union monopoly and union bazi and loot and not so polite attitude puts a wrong impression about a city and Guwahati airport has all of those. AAI and Adani should look into it and probe into the matter.
