Vivanta Guwahati

Earlier, I used to enjoy staying at your hotel; however, during my recent visits, I felt a noticeable change in the level of service. The staff no longer appear as polite or attentive as before. As we are crew members who stay frequently, it sometimes feels as though this may be the reason the attentiveness has reduced. Unfortunately, that warmth and care now seem to be missing. I would also like to highlight a concern regarding hygiene. Last year, during one of my visits, I noticed an egg-like smell in the water glass in the dining area. After almost a year, during my recent stay, I experienced the same issue again in the dining area, and my friend noticed it as well. Additionally, my friend mentioned that the water bottle provided in the room also had a similar odor. This is something that may need immediate attention. Apart from these concerns, the rest of the services were satisfactory. I would also like to sincerely thank Mr. Biswajit for his kind gesture and support during my stay, which I truly appreciated. I had a very pleasant and comfortable stay at the hotel. The overall experience was excellent, with well-maintained rooms, cleanliness, and prompt service.I would especially like to appreciate Mr. Lakhya and Ms. Rajshree from the Front Desk for their warm hospitality, professionalism, and helpful attitude. They were courteous, efficient, and always ready to assist with a smile, which made the check-in and stay seamless.Special thanks to Mr. Bibhas from Housekeeping for maintaining exceptional cleanliness and ensuring that all requirements were promptly taken care of. His dedication and attention to detail truly stood out. Overall, a highly satisfying experience. I would strongly recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again in the future.

Good hotel, BF is great..The hotel staffs are nice and secure hotel.

I stayed at the hotel for a single day. Location is good for any official work in Guwahati— easy commute but I think the room service department needs serious overhaul. The tables in the room were stained. The cloth over the ironing table, was stained. Please look into it. It is such a good property. I hope you guys take the criticism in a positive way

The hotel staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Even during the rush, their warmth never faded. I casually asked for cold water once, and despite everything going on, Biswajit remembered and came back to serve me a glass of cold water. It may seem like a small gesture, but it was genuinely heartwarming. Such thoughtfulness truly makes a place feel special and leaves a lasting impression.Also a big thanks to all the other hotel staffs.

I reached Vivanta at around 11:30 pm. I was very hungry. I called the reception and enquired about food as the restaurant was closed for the day. I was served food just like home and the chicken dish was extremely delicious I wish to appreciate for the good food I also would love to stay there again if given the chance to visit Guwahati again With best wishes to the whole Vivanta team

The room and washroom were not up to the mark, neither was the breakfast buffet. I understand that the property is quite old, but the infrastructure within the hotel can be updated. Their "smart" rooms with "smart" switches were just some fancy looking switches, nothing smart about them. Almost all the faucets were coming off, a bunch of lights were not working, which made the room and washroom quite dark.

Stayed at Vivanta Guwahati and really enjoyed the experience. The hotel is beautifully located in Khanapara with modern, comfortable rooms and nice views of the surrounding hills. The staff were polite and attentive, and the facilities — including the pool, spa, gym and restaurants — are excellent for both leisure and business travelers. Breakfast and dining options are good with a variety of choices. A few guests have mentioned that some areas could use a bit more maintenance and service can be inconsistent at times, but overall it’s a highly recommended upscale choice in Guwahati. 👍
