We went here on a Sunday night for a buffet and our experience was very average. The service was too slow even though the place was not full. They serve you starters on the table and we were given 1 plate with a few pieces of their starters between 4 people which got over in a few minutes. Then we had to wait for 10 minutes to get the next serving and then again 10 mins for the next serving. After that, we just lost patience and moved to the main course. The soup was pretty basic. Once we took the main course, we had to look and wait for someone to tell them what bread we wanted, and then they took another 10 mins to get 1 naan and 1 roti. We had to ask for everything multiple times to get it. They were in a rush of removing plates from the table without even asking if someone was done with the food or not. You take your eyes off your plate and it will be gone even if it has food left. Their staff needs a lot of training. Although, it took them 1 minute to get our bill. Will mostly not go again here because the overall experience is not worth the price.

The Sunday Brunch Buffet here is an ample mix of different cuisines that cover appetisers, entrées and desserts. Their desserts, especially, are beautifully made and taste just as good as they look. Other than their buffet, their regular menu focuses on highlighting local ingredients. They've got a handful of items on the menu based around one particular local ingredient, which are prepared to celebrate said ingredient. Even their burger is good. Of course, it's expensive but the entire Taj Experience is worth the pretty penny.

The food wasn’t worth the prices at all. My stomach was paining after each meal.

We had dinner at Vivanta by Taj Seven Restaurant and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The menu displayed on the website did not accurately reflect the offerings available at the restaurant. Specifically, there was no Assamese food available despite being listed on the menu. Furthermore, I opted to eat at Unani, the Pan Asian restaurant within the hotel, where I found the quality of food to be below expectations. Despite branding itself as an authentic Pan Asian food establishment, the dishes lacked authenticity and were subpar compared to even street food standards. Additionally, I found the service to be lacking in professionalism. The senior staff member who attended to us seemed inexperienced and displayed minimal etiquette expected in the hospitality industry. Overall, my visit to Vivanta by Taj Seven Restaurant was disappointing. I hope these issues can be addressed to provide a more accurate representation of the menu and improve the quality of service and food offerings.

Was there for my wife's doctoral graduation dinner. We were served well by Mudit and Bikash, who catered to an impromptu request to celebrate with a dessert as well, making the situation memorable for our family and paid personal attention to our needs. In terms of food, we did not go for a buffet but went for ALA carte that suited our choices. we also had a non menu sweet corn soup that was delicious. We had the paneer Tikka, awadh korma, dal tadka, kulcha, phulkas and veg biriyani. All of the dishes were well prepared by the chef. The Tikka was fresh, smokey, veggies and dal were fresh. Great experience.

Visited just to have a meeting, had starters like malai paneer Tikka, tandoori mushroom masala and coffee. Foods were tasty and ambient was good too. It's actuin the top floor but feels like at ground floor on land. Good experience and recommend for evening hangout. I was pleasantly surprised by the ambiance of the restaurant. The food was delicious. The food was nothing special, but I enjoyed my experience here.

I have given 2 stars by being very generous as the service , food taste , food portion everything is below par when compared with any other decent restaurants in town . I found everything to be just ok .Portion size is painfully less for what you pay . The manager /chef there must go and have the same items in the other 5 stars in town . Mutton biriyani though aromatic tasted ok . Mutton Rogan Josh was too tangy . Naan and kulchas were ok but absolutely ordinary . Butter chicken was again nothing special . Badam lassi was good but the straws provided were not large enough in diameter as the pieces of badam were obstructing it's flow . Overall a mixed feeling and dissapointment . Forgot to mention one of the waiter was borderline rude( he also said that in taj Chinese food was not served from 3 pm to 7 pm ) and the waiting time for food is horribly slow .It's not surprising that the good reviews are from months and years ago .
