GHAR 365 Residency

This was honestly one of the worst hospitality experiences I have ever had. The staff were extremely loud, constantly shouting and yelling, with absolutely no sense of professionalism or basic etiquette. Despite guests being present, they were busy chatting among themselves, laughing loudly, and behaving as if they were in a local hangout rather than a hotel. There was zero respect for guests or the environment. The hygiene standards were beyond unacceptable. The chairs had a horrible, foul smell. Since the tables and chairs are made of velvet-type fabric, basic maintenance like regular vacuuming and cleaning is the bare minimum expected. Instead, there was a clear fungal smell along with visible stains, making it extremely uncomfortable to even sit there. It felt unhygienic and poorly maintained, especially for a place that claims to be a reputed hotel. The washrooms were another major disappointment. They were filthy, poorly cleaned, and completely ignored by the staff. This alone shows how little attention is given to cleanliness and guest comfort. The most shocking and disappointing part was the manager’s behavior. He was completely unprofessional, cracking cheap jokes and behaving casually in front of guests, without any sense of responsibility or decorum. Instead of managing the staff or ensuring a pleasant experience for guests, he was contributing to the chaos. It genuinely makes you wonder how someone with such an attitude is appointed as a manager in the first place. Overall, a big NO to Ghar 365. It is unbelievable that such a big hotel operates with such poorly trained, unprofessional staff and such low hygiene standards. This place seriously needs better management, proper staff training, and strict hygiene control. Until then, I would strongly advise people to avoid this place completely.

Ghar365 is an economy business hotel that is value for money. For the tariff charged, it is not bad. However, the place looks a little run down and is need of some maintenance and upkeep. During my stay, there were mosquitoes in the room on two days that affected sleep quality. Since the place also has banqueting facilities, it is frequently booked by wedding parties. The wedding guests during my stay were too loud and were creating a racket in the corridors. Despite repeated complaints to reception, the guests continued to create a nuisance throughout the night - keeping the doors of their rooms open, screaming loudly and playing music at high volume.|The restaurant is functional, and the breakfast spread is limited, as is to be expected.|The staff on the other hand is very courteous and tries to help in the constraints they operate under. Overall, the place is ok for business travellers on a very tight budget.

Location is good. Food is good. Service is slow. Located near a busy area. However they have parking. It has a good ambiance. It's not that costly but neither is it cheap. I have no idea about rooms as I haven't stayed there.

Ghar 365 Residency offers a great overall experience, starting with the convenient valet parking which is a huge plus. The general ambience of the place is very good and welcoming, and the food was consistently good across the board. The service was also attentive for the most part, deserving praise. However, there are a couple of areas for improvement: the restaurant lighting is noticeably poor and detracts from the dining experience, and the time taken to bring the bill was excessively long. Addressing the lighting and streamlining the billing process would easily elevate this to a five-star experience.

We were there as a group for a wedding and our experience was pretty poor. Rooms are average, hospitality is not Upto mark. Simple things like there was no preparation on their behalf to get the group checked in asap, could have Pre collected IDs etc. House keeping department really needs to pull up. Long arguments for water bottle and tea bag replenishment. And to add to that, even though we made the bookings 6 months in advance, all our rooms were not handed over and we were told that they had to prioritise a GOVERNMENT booking over ours because government bookings are important. Additionally, the manager had changed from the time we booked vs when we were there and we were told by the new manager that “this is not my responsibility “. I don’t know how making a customer feel inferior compared to other is anything but hostility.Food however was very good and all our guests enjoyed the cuisine. Overall no contribution from the hotel to enhance your special day. Pretty average experience.

Ghar 365 Residency is a Lovely 3 Star Hotel located in the prime Six Mile Area in Gauhati right next to the Six Mile Flyover and is Very Conveniently Located. The Hotel is Very Well Furnished, has a Spacious Lobby with plenty of Comfortable Seating, a Large Reception Desk, a Very Large & Well Furnished Restaurant, a Separate Bar cum Restaurant and a Discotheque on the Ground Floor, with another Restaurant on the First Floor where Breakfast is served and a Small Gym as well. The Rooms are a bit Small, but Very Well Furnished with a Comfortable Bed, Good Pillows & Linen, a Small Study Table with a Chair, TV with Tata Sky, Luggage Storage Area, Wardrobe, Electric Kettle with supplies, Mini Fridge and a nice Bathroom with Good Toiletries and 24 hrs Hot & Cold Water, making it a Very Comfortable Room to stay in. The Breakfast is Absolutely Awesome with a Very Large Selection of items and Eggs to Order as well as Dosa Items on Order too. The Dinner at the Ground Floor Restaurant was also Very Good and the Service was Prompt as well. Their Food is surely one of their Hallmarks and is Very Tasty too. Truly a Very Good Place to stay at if you are looking for a Cozy Hotel with Good Food at a Reasonable Rate in the heart of Gauhati.

A forgettable experience, couldn't be more worse. Infact the worst I've ever put up in. The staff at front office are one bunch of complete unprofessional people. The house keeping staff never responds the calls and one has to call front multiple times for one small amenity. The rooms are old and rusty: the outer decor of the restaurant is though new and totally gives a different impression: the restaurant staff however is better and buffet food is fine.
