We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were neat, comfortable and well-maintained. The staff were polite and always ready to help. The location was convenient and the overall experience was very pleasant. Would happily stay here again or recommend this place.

I have been through many countries and stayed mainly at USA hotel chain Marriott. I must say that I was very impressed with this hidden gem- Hotel Gateway Grandeur! The location is in the heart of the Guwahati City. The room was clean and great. The restaurant serves good/tasty breakfast, lunch and dinner. The front desk staff, door security, and restaurant servers are very courteous and professional. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will be back in future. Madhav M.

I had a mixed experience during my 2-day stay at Hotel Gateway Grandeur — once at the beginning and again at the end of my trip. The hotel enjoys a prime location with a lively market nearby, and it frequently hosts parties, meetings, and weddings.On arrival, I was impressed by the hotel’s stylish interiors. However, the check-in experience was disappointing. The two female receptionists seemed unprepared, and one of them was quite rude, though I admit we were tired and exhausted after traveling, which led to a heated exchange.The room itself was neat and clean, but the room service was below expectations — no complimentary water bottles or hair dryer were provided.As for dining, the hotel features a bar, a coffee shop, and a restaurant serving buffet meals. The dinner buffet was delicious, and the staff were polite and attentive. However, during breakfast, the service felt disorganized, although the food itself was tasty.Overall, my stay was average — a blend of good food and nice ambience, but inconsistent service. There’s also a beautiful temple nearby, which adds to the charm of the location. Enjoy your holidays!
