Hotel Sai Rain Tree

We had a really good stay at this hotel and were very happy with our experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Check-in was smooth and easy, which made a great first impression. The room was clean, comfortable, and well looked after. The bed was cozy, the room was quiet, and everything we needed was provided. Housekeeping did a great job keeping the room fresh and tidy throughout our stay. While the hotel is simple and doesn’t have luxury extras like a pool, it offers a comfortable and relaxing environment that feels well cared for. The location was convenient and made getting around easy, whether for sightseeing or daily activities. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was calm and pleasant, making it a nice place to come back to after a long day. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money, friendly service, and a comfortable stay. We enjoyed our time here and would definitely consider staying again in the future. Once again big big shoutout to the staff and the one and only chotu.

I won’t even give 1 star to this hotel. I won’t even consider it a hotel. Don’t be fooled by the photos of its restaurant or photos on any booking app. I booked 2 rooms in makemytrip, room 202 and 206 were assigned. I already paid money in full for 2 nights, but i was so disappointed when I entered the room. Each room is not even 10ft x 10ft, cramped space in bathroom, won’t even consider it a bathroom, no space to even walk in the room. Rooms were totally different from as shown in booking app. Low ceiling, claustrophobic, i felt I couldn’t breathe in the room. I immediately changed hotel same night, i could only stay for 10 minutes in those room. They charged me for the night nonetheless. No issues for me, but atleast don’t fool customers with fake pics. I would advice you 1000% to stay away from this hotel, if you want to consider it one at bare minimum. You will get instantly negative vibe entering the rooms. Maybe they gave our rooms to someone else, but there was no transparency. I doubt if they even have bigger rooms? Well, sayonara from this nightmare. I strongly recommend travellers to stay away.

Delightful experience at the Hotel Sai Rain. Had a comfortable stay and the service was friendly and welcoming. All facilities were great and I definitely recommend this hotel if you’re planning to visit Assam!

Rooms are ok but bathroom very small. Rooms are Neat and clean.Location is very good specially for Six Mile or Khanapara area. AC working fine. TV not working. Wifi not working in night time. Staffs are very cooperative. Overall it's ok

I had a very comfortable stay at Hotel Sai Rain Tree. The staff is courteous, and the rooms and washrooms are spotless and well maintained. Ideal for solo travellers looking for a stay near Khanapara.

I have a travel business and have to stay in guwahati during weekend. As per photo. This place has such tiny rooms where you can't even walk in ..its ended for single room ane charges goes 1200rs approx. Paid 2000 for king size room and its NOT ALL ALL AS PER PICTURES. ONE SIDE OF THE BED IS LOCKED AND OTHER SIDE HAS SO Hygiene. Asked for 2400 for deluxe is you can get in 1500-1600 and wide room anywhere in guwahati. This is for backpackers 10inch mattress and not king or queen size.

I visited it recently in Feb, 2024. Everything from the behaviour of the manager, other staffs and housekeeping boy, to the location of the hotel, convenience of getting a cab/bike, food of the in-house restaurant was just SUPERB. Only problem that I faced was that the size of the bathroom was way too small for a double bed 'Deluxe' room. If it had been a single room bathroom, then it would've been appropriate. But for a double bed Deluxe room, for which one is paying a hefty price, one expects some better construction. Also the TV and AC were not functioning properly. Had to call the housekeeping guy every time. Owner needs to pay attention to these things. Otherwise my stay was quite comfortable and convenient.
