I planned my trip for 2 days initially and made the bookings. From the beginning, I was attended by their hospitable staff and allotted a clean room with and everything that comes with it. Room service 10/10. Staff on property 11/10. Cleanliness 10/10. I had to extend my stay and I couldn’t change my flight, I had a really hard time reaching the airline company and I didn’t have a laptop. The reception staff along with their manager, Mr. Peter; what an absolute gentleman, went out of his way to assist me and upon confirmation, gave me a great deal to extend my stay at their hotel. Advised me on what to look for in the city. Thank you and your team for all the help, Peter.

An excellent budget hotel with tastefully done rooms, extremely helpful staff, and one of the best breakfast spreads.|I stayed for a week for work. The location of the hotel is perfect - there are several excellent restaurants within walking distance, my work place was very close by. The rooms are clean and tidy, and well maintained. Any complaints and service requests were attended to promptly. The front desk staff was very helpful and co-operative. The staff overall is always smiling, courteous, and helpful.|The breakfast spread is the best among hotels in the area - there is a wide variety of choice, the food is tasty and fresh, and the menu is never repeated.|Overall, a perfect choice for budget business travellers.

Check in process was smooth & quick. Room was clean. AC was ok, not v.powerful. The so-called balcony attached to the room was of no use as it faced an empty building up close. In-room dining has very limited food options. I need to mention breakfast buffet - firstly it is available from 8 am only so if you have plans to catch early breakfast before stepping out for temples, beaches, etc be mindful. Next, the buffet spread itself was very lame - idli, puri, pulav. That's it. The chutney was too salty, sambar was fine. No juice, no fruits, no salad, etc. Coffee and tea was very average. Cereals was there but no milk. It came late by then we had finished breakfast. While checking out, they don't have the basic courtesy to say thank you. Despite seeing me carry the luggage on my own, they never offered for any help/assistance. Overall, very average food and too pricey for these offerings.

I recently stayed at Shoolin grand, that offered a comfortable and pleasant experience overall. The location was convenient, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and local attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out smooth and efficient. The room was clean, well-furnished, and spacious enough for a relaxing stay. Housekeeping did a good job maintaining everything tidy, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel’s amenities, including the restaurant and lounge area, were well-maintained and added to the comfort of the stay. Breakfast had a good variety, though it could be improved with a few more fresh options. Wi-Fi worked well throughout the property, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and enjoyable. Overall, Shoolin Grand lives up to a great choice for both business and leisure travelers looking for comfort and convenience at a fair price.

Hotel Shoolin Grand offers a comfortable stay, but the highlight is its excellent food quality. The dishes are delicious, well-prepared, and full of flavor. The service is good and the overall experience is pleasant, making it a nice choice for both stay and dining. But staff and manager are okay okay

Rooms stink. Poor maintenance on 5th floor rooms. Chairs in the room are so bad that no one would like to sit. Lady in the reception in morning shift she looks polite but she is rude by her behaviour. 4th floor rooms are well maintained, clean and neat. Food served is okayish. If budget constraintz you can go here and adjust. If budget is not a problem find a better hotel in Guwahati.

Horrible Experience - AC Broken, Useless Staff, and Absent GM I wish I could give this hotel zero stars. Our entire stay was a nightmare. The air conditioning in our room was completely non-functional. The room was stuffy and unbearably hot, making it impossible to sleep. The worst part wasn't even the broken AC; it was the staff's complete indifference. We called the front desk immediately. They said they would send someone, but hours passed and no one showed up. We called again and again, and each time the staff was rude, made excuses, or just flat-out ignored our request. They offered no solutions—no repair, no fan, no offer to change rooms. They simply did not care. After getting nowhere, we asked to speak to the General Manager. We were told they were "unavailable." We left messages and explained the situation, but the GM never bothered to respond. It's clear the poor service comes from the top down. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a hotel. A simple problem was turned into a miserable stay by a staff that wouldn't help and a manager who was hiding. Avoid this place at all costs. Gautam surana

There is flyover in front of hotel, hence bad location. we were pre booked in this hotel and when we checked in, there room was all filthy, ac duct was not working, smelling alcohol and cigarette smoke inside. We left and booked another hotel. And cherry on the top that there receptionist explained, room will ,of course, smell like this if air conditioning is not active. Wowww!!!. Total impression of cheap third class hotel. Only for stay of wedding guests if looking for cheap accommodation .
