The check-in process was smooth and quick, and everyone was extremely polite and professional. The room was clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. Housekeeping did a great job every day, ensuring everything was fresh and organized. The hotel ambiance was peaceful and relaxing, which made my stay even more enjoyable. What impressed me the most was the staff’s behavior. They were always ready to help with a smile and responded promptly to any request. Their hospitality and positive attitude really made a difference. It’s clear that customer satisfaction is their top priority. The food and overall service were also excellent. Everything was well-managed and exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and outstanding service. Novotel Guwahati GS Road ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Premium Stay with Great Hospitality – Just One Minor Squeeze! I recently attended an event and stayed at Novotel Guwahati, and overall, it was a very pleasant and professional experience. The Positives: Service & Rooms: As expected from the Novotel brand, the rooms are modern, spacious, and impeccably clean. The staff is courteous and goes out of their way to ensure guests are comfortable. Amenities: The overall ambiance of the hotel is excellent. From the lobby to the rooftop, the design is sleek and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Food Quality: The food served was delicious, with a wide variety of cuisines that were well-prepared and presented. Room for Improvement: Conference Hall Buffet Area: While the conference facilities themselves are top-notch, the buffet area dedicated to the conference hall felt inadequate in size. When the session broke for lunch/dinner, it became quite crowded and felt a bit cramped for the number of guests present. A bit more space or a better layout for the dining area would make the event experience perfect. Verdict: Rest of the services are absolutely fine and meet 5-star standards. It is a fantastic choice for business or leisure in Guwahati, provided the event organizers manage the dining flow effectively. I would definitely stay here again!

The property look and feel, entrance, lobby, space, room design and amenities are comparable to a high end 4* and doesn’t seem quite there to be labelled as 5*. The service staff is young and learning. Needs mentoring. Security top class. Breakfast area is good with decent spread, kind of a plus point. They also have dynamic pricing that may lead to 30-40% lower rates on a day when compared to advance booking rates (which seems weird as advance rates are usually best rates and cheapest to book in comparison to current rates) Learnt a lesson on not booking in advance at this property and came as a rude shock when reached hotel and found it on display. Nothing against reservations team, it’s the corporate policy and seniors don’t put an effort to intervene and resolve. Room Service was good and opt for a higher floor due to congested views of the city centre. Waiting area at the lobby is inadequate and usually occupied by people attending official programs so difficult for the guests to meet visitors. This can be improved. Overall decent accommodation in Guwahati which doesn’t have many quality hotel options. Kind of 3 stars for the property and management but chose to give 4 stars due to some good experience with the young staff members.
