The Homestead - Farmhouse

We stayed at this farmhouse with a group of 6 people, and it was truly an amazing experience. The place was very clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained. The peaceful environment and natural surroundings made our stay relaxing and refreshing. The rooms were comfortable, and all basic facilities were available. The staff/owner was very polite and helpful throughout our stay. We really enjoyed the open space, fresh air, and quality time together. Overall, it was a wonderful and memorable experience. Highly recommended for families and groups who want a peaceful getaway. We would definitely love to visit again!

The farmhouse is surrounded by lush greenery and offered a calm environment away from the city’s hustle which was perfect after a spiritual visit. The rooms were clean, spacious and well-maintained with all the basic amenities required for a comfortable stay. The natural setting, fresh air and serene ambiance made it feel like a retreat in itself. The host was warm and hospitable. They also guided us regarding the best time to visit the temple. Overall, staying at this farmhouse added great value to our Kamakhya Temple visit. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay in Guwahati especially for pilgrims and families seeking a quiet place close to nature.

It's an OK place to stay for 3-4 people for the price you pay. My sole purpose of writing this review is to educate people of mistakes I made while booking this on Airbnb. Carefully read listing details as There are few things that are exactly as per the listing that caused INCONVENIENCE for us. The 2bhk available in the listing has 1) 2 double cot beds + 1 single bed in Hall (5 adults can sleep nicely) - we were pack of 6 so it was very uncomfortable to adjust. They don't have an extra mattress and the host asked us to take an extra room (in their adjacent duplex for an extra 1500 which we have not taken as that's not worth it.) 2) They have one bathroom and no geyser (this is as per listing but we have ignored their "no geyser" which have caused a problem for us - They have an immersive water heater but that takes time to heat water). No outside wash basin is available. We had to wait in turns to use the bathroom since we were 6 people. 3) This place is surrounded by some industries/workshops and didn't give us a home stay feel. The cleanliness of the place could be improved as well. There's a lot of dust in and around. Good for 3-4 people. I don't recommend it if you are a group like 5-6. It would have been better if there were extra mattresses available and geyser in the bathroom.

Such a lovely place to relax and unwind with friends and family! What makes it even better is its peaceful location, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The hosts are absolutely wonderful—so warm and attentive, always making sure you feel right at home. Highly recommend it for a quiet, comfortable getaway!

The Gas stove was not working properly, everything else was good.

They went above and beyond to make sure my stay was as enjoyable as possible, and I really appreciated their efforts. Excellent stay. Its a good place to get away from the city. Its family friendly and safe. Staffs were very down to earth as well the owners. Would recommend this to everyone who is looking for a place to hang up their boots for a night. It can accommodate close to 6 people. Bonus: you get a space to test your badminton skills.
