Scenery and Beauty is good , must visit place if you are near to Guwahati airport or railway station. Due to shortage of time , I have not tried ropeway but you should try if you have half a day atleast . Please ensure you visit during evening time to witness the beauty of sunset . It's very fascinating and wonderful to be there . Such a quality time one can spend there with anyone . But you have to return before 5:30 cause above the hill there is the Governor's residence.

Place is beautiful. But the system of ferry is most third class. Time is the money for the tourist. Govt should look into the matter and increase the ferry service. Otherwise one time they will not get the passengers and earnings of this temple will shutdown.

If you are a sunset lover then this place is for you ,Whole area around this place is beautiful .This is my favourite place during rainy days and also away from city crowd & atmosphere.Two chai points are there…you can have you chai seeing sunset and enjoy misty breeze of mighty Brahmaputra 👌🏻.This place is for all from teenagers to couples and family. I have a request please keep this place cleans don’t throw cups and other things by Water pipe like local people do…Be sensible 🙏

Very good place to visit

Excellent island under Brahmaputra River. A must visit place, this is a one hour trip by ferry that costs 20 INR for a return trip.

In order to get to the umananda temple you will get ferry services from here. It's quite a good view point to witness the vast Brahmaputra river. E ening time is the best to relax.
