It sounds like you’re on a bit of a spiritual circuit around Guwahati! Since you visited the Hare Krishna Mandir (ISKCON) yesterday as well, here is a review reflecting that same "great views, messy upkeep" vibe. I visited the Hare Krishna Mandir in Guwahati yesterday, and much like my other stops, the experience was defined by a beautiful location paired with a need for better upkeep. The highlight of the visit is definitely the scenic view from the top, which provides a sweeping look at the city and a truly calm atmosphere that is perfect for meditation or a quiet moment of reflection. I’m giving it a 4/5 because the spiritual energy and the vantage point are fantastic, but I have to be honest—the premises are not well maintained. There’s a noticeable lack of cleanliness and repair in certain areas that takes away from the grandeur you’d expect from such a significant temple. It’s a wonderful place to find some peace above the hustle of Guwahati, but it really deserves more care and attention to preserve its charm. They also have free prasadam service everyday.

Located near IIT Guwahati. Hare Krishna Temple is a place to meditate or relax from your daily hustle. Visit there for the evening Aarti. The prasadam is very tasty and they provide noodles, kheer, pulao, etc. as prasadam.

Hare Krishna Mandir is again one of the top most nice temples of Lord Krishna in Guwahati. The temple is managed on the line of ISCON temples series. Huge premises for the temple. Ample parking place, washrooms availability.... everything is being taken care of. Live Bhajan is sung throughout the day. Prasad grahan in the form of Payasam is available for the entire day. Neat and clean premises, nicely maintained Temple by the trustees.

A must visit place for everyone and specially for spiritual person🤍. I visited the place yesterday and was awestruck by everything. Starting from the ambience to the maintenance everything is just amazing. The temple is very beautifully constructed, decorated and designed finely. I was mesmerized by the interior decorations. There are volenteers helping the visitors, explaining what to do and what not to. They put tilak in every devotee's forhead. I saw the evening aarti and also did holy chanting it made me feel very happy. Also had prasadam. And I really want to appreciate the work of 'Akshaya Patra' foundation they are doing an amazing job of providing mid-day meal to every child. Jai shree Krishna❤️🩹

“I am a Muslim boy, and I do not differentiate between religions. So I was thinking of going once to a sacred place like that. Actually, my friends are going, and I am the only Muslim among them—so can I go with them? And according to the rules there, am I allowed to perform aarti or prayers? If I have said anything wrong, please don’t misunderstand me—kindly forgive me. I have never done this before, so there may be some mistakes.” and if I can't go there or perform arti then I'm genuinely sorry for asking these
