Kharghuli Sanatan Dharma Mandir

This is a hindu temple situated at Kharghuli, guwahati. This is not very large in size but has a large open space to organise different religious activities. People from different area come here to offer puja here. One can buy puja items from the shops near the entrance gate of the mandir. This is a drive through place. There is no special washrooms for the visitors. Dustbins should be placed in different corners of the mandir area campus. The open ground is not very clean, people use to throw plastics or other unused puja items here and there. A small amusement park is also there within the campus for kids. Small kids can spend their quality time in this park. Overall it is good religious place for hindu devotees.

It's a Sanatan Dharma Mandir. Here we are doing Durga puja, Lakshmi puja, Kali puja. And doing Daily Naam Kirtan in Bhadra Month. You can book a hall here for marriage ceremonies and other functions. But you have to follow the food according to hindu law.

Kharghuli Sanatan Dharma Mandir represents a landmark and a popular place of Kharghuli area. It came into being in 1978. The temple hosts the yearly Durga Puja which is attended by people from not only the entire Kharghuli area but from other parts of Guwahati as well. In addition, it is a preferred place for Marriages and other functions of the local residents of Kharghuli. The place has a large hall on the first floor with an integrated kitchen space. The committee provides chairs, tables & utensils and a host of other facilities. The ground floor can be used as a reception place and the area outside as an extension to it or for car parking. The local tent houses fulfill the other requirements. For bookings and queries one may contact the secretary of the Mandir Committee.

Good but the surroundings are unhealthy because of the existence of open chicken shops here and there !!

Actually liked this place. Good for marriages et al.Good parking slot. Logistics are favourable.

New infrastructural work is going on. The committee members behave in a very interactive manner.
