Shila Devi Temple

A serene place that encourages slowing down.

I had to wait till chaitra sankranti to visit maa shila Devi. It's on a very steep mountain, tracking/climbing is hard. You should take water to drink. All Pooja samagri should be carried, nothing available on the top. People say that the surrounding is not safe from wild animals. So should visit in group. Only during chaitra sankranti it becomes crowdy.

That was a mini hilly area.. I was travelled there during evening time...so I could not clearly observe on that day.. But it's good during puja festival time..

Nice place to worship of Mata Durga & environment is very nice. Peaceful atmosphere
