Despite being called a 'hotel', it's actually a family restaurant, some of these establishments are called hotels, even though they’re actually restaurants that serve rice along with traditional dishes. This practice likely dates back to a time when there were few standalone restaurants around. Back then, people would visit hotels for a sit-down meal outside of home, which is probably why some restaurants are still referred to as hotels today. Bajwai Hotel, a quick-service Bodo restaurant, is located on the first floor and is accessible via a staircase with around 30 easy steps and a sturdy handrail. Roadside parking available in the area.

The restaurant is typical of what can be expected from a Bajwi restaurant in this part of Assam. Fast delivery, standard thali and a few extra ones on order. Go there if you are in a hurry and need to grab a quick lunch at a clean place. Food items are non spicy, non-salty, and non greasy. Bland and easy on the stomach.

Good for having a quick meal with the family as the service is pretty fast, but if you wanna spend time with your loved ones and have conversations I would not recommend this. The food was okay. Not extremely good nor really bad. 3/5

This is a place where you come in and sit and order the day's specials or available delicacies and within 5mins start eating and pay and come out. A No nonsense and a quick meal kinda place. The staff are very courtecious and attentive with a rush on things, the sitting arrangementis pure basic with a capacity of 4 chairs per table and a total of around 18 to 20 tables with two floors and a waiting area with two sofas incase one has to wait a little for a table to be available. The Food is pure ethenic, authentic, healthy and organic with a vibe of rural hospitality in the atmosphere and very Yummy to the Tummy (pun intended). Only thing that i personally as a foodie find a little wondering is the price. It is neither expensive but at the same time not very friendly to the wallet either. It is just at the point where a common public cannot have a meal without worrying at any point of the day or week, but only with an eye on the wallet. Is it worth the price? I would say a solid 8 out of 10 yes. Is it where one can eat everyday of the week without worrying about the wallet? Absolutely not but can afford 1 or 2 meals in a week. The other thing i find a bit uneasy is the availibilty of parking as its purely roadside parking, specially difficult for 4 wheeler parking. One can find a spot but most probably has to walk a little. In summary, a meal worth to have.
