I had a great experience at AB’s. It was my second visit, and once again, I had a wonderful time there. The overall ambiance was warm and welcoming, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The food was excellent — especially the barbecue and the Wish Grill, which were absolutely amazing and full of flavor. The starters were perfectly cooked and served fresh. The main course was equally impressive, with a wide variety of delicious dishes to choose from. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. The desserts were the highlight for me — they were incredibly tasty and the perfect way to end the meal. The staff were very courteous, attentive, and quick in their service, making sure we were comfortable throughout. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would happily rate them 9/10. I’m definitely looking forward to visiting again.

Starters are exceptional in taste. But the other items were not upto the mark. Biryani was extremely bland in taste. Desserts were good especially the ice cream . Service was good and the manager was also very friendly

We recently visited Absolute Barbecue, Guwahati, hoping to try something new since we usually go to Barbeque Nation, which has always been our favourite. Unfortunately, this experience was quite disappointing. There was no one at the reception to welcome or assist us, and we had to find our own table. The service throughout felt unorganized and inattentive — we had to repeatedly call for help or to place simple requests. Coming to the food: Crispy Corn and Cajun Potatoes were good, but the grilled mushroom lacked taste, and there was no grilled fish available. At the live counter, after several requests, we received a very small portion of octopus and pasta, mostly filled with vegetables. The main course was below average — the fish was bland, butter chicken too sweet, and there was no rice until we informed the staff. Even the naan and rotis were tasteless. The dessert section, though decent, was unattended and we had to call someone to help us. Overall, the experience felt far below expectations in both service and food quality. Compared to Barbeque Nation, the warmth and coordination were clearly missing. I genuinely hope the management looks into this and improves, as the concept and ambience have great potential.

Visited Absolute Barbecues, and had a pretty good experience overall. The service was definitely the highlight, the staff cared about our feedback throughout the meal. We got complimentary drinks which were really good and also got discount on our bills (students offer) As for the food, it was good and had a good variety, prawns were really tasty. Though some items felt a bit dry to taste. The dessert was yummy. However, what impressed us the most was that whenever we shared our concerns, the team exchanged the item and customized it to improve the flavor, which was really thoughtful. They even offered to add extra seasoning or prepare it again. Overall, I loved the experience. 😇

It's quite big and spacious! The menu includes seafoods like octopus and squids! But it doesn't taste good at all. Starters were good as usual Main course was somehow good And dessert section was average! But there were plenty of options.. You can give a try👍

I visited the restaurant second time and completely disappointed. The first time I visited few years back, everything was good but this time service is not good and taste of the food was also not up to the mark. I don't know whether the service and food was bad on that particular day but I am never going to visit again.

I recently visited Absolute Barbecue this week in November to celebrate my birthday. The birthday celebration itself went well — the staff made it special and handled it nicely. However, I was quite disappointed with several aspects of the overall experience. Firstly, the service quality was poor. We had to call the staff repeatedly for orders, and even then, they often forgot or delayed bringing what we asked for. I requested cold water in my drink around six to seven times, and only after repeatedly asking did they tell me that cold water wasn’t available — instead, they offered ice cubes. That was quite disappointing and felt very unprofessional. Next, talking about the starters, there weren’t enough options. They only served chicken, prawns, mushrooms, watermelon, paneer, chicken leg pieces, potatoes, and one or two more items. The grilled corn was good, but they should have included fish as well. Another major letdown was that no complimentary drinks were provided — we had to pay extra for any kind of beverage, which was unexpected at this price point. Coming to the main course, there was not enough variety — only around 4 to 5 types of dishes were available. The taste was just average and not up to the mark, especially considering the price (₹880 per person). We visited around 9:30 PM, and it seemed like many dishes were either finished or not properly refilled. Overall, the main course was quite disappointing and lacked options. As for the desserts, they were also underwhelming — very limited items and nothing particularly tasty or appealing. Overall, it was a bad experience, and I don’t plan to visit Absolute Barbecue again. I would recommend going to Pirates of Grill or Barbeque Nation instead — both offer better service, more variety, and tastier food for the price.
