OPTIMISTA Learning Hub

I completed my six-month internship at Optimistic Learning Hub, which was a valuable learning experience. During this period, I gained practical knowledge in classroom management, one-to-one counselling, initiating counselling sessions, and case reporting. I also had the opportunity to interact with diverse individuals, which enhanced my professional skills. I am grateful to Ms. Tribenee Bhattacharya for her guidance and support.

The 45- days of supervised Internship under Ms. Tribeni Bhattacharyya was a dynamic experience where we get to interact with both children, adults, people with normal lives and people who experience difficulties mentally. We get to learn how to conduct group counselling/workshops and one-to-one counselling sessions with hands-on practical experience. I am truly grateful for the wonderful opportunity to be a part of the Supervised Internship 2025.

The 45 days supervised internship was full of exposure of different aspects in psychology specialising counselling. I gained a lot of pratical experience in the field and worked on improving my skills as well!!

As someone who had real issues in public speaking and confidence, this psychology internship greatly improved my public speaking skills and confidence and gave me valuable practical experience and exposure through real-life counselling sessions, assessments, and awareness activities. I'm grateful to my mentor Tribenee Ma'am and Optimista Learning Hub for this experience.

Overall my experience was very good it helped me understand the importance of emotional and social well-being in community development. I learned how to interact meaningfully with diverse individuals, including children, the elderly, and vendors. The hands-on experience increased my confidence in fieldwork, public speaking, and awareness programs. Most importantly, it made me more sensitive toward social issues and encouraged me to contribute positively to society.
