K.C. Das Commerce College

If someone ask me to name a WORST college to study I will definitely name KC DAS COMMERCE COLLEGE. The most pathetic and corrupt principal and teaching staff. No strict rules and regulations. 2012-18 The college was one of the excellent educational institute in entire northeast. Their results were far better than GUWAHATI COMMERCE COLLEGE and was equally competing with GCC producing toppers from both HS and DEGREE LEVEL. I guess the former principal was DR. GHANASHYAM NATH. But after 2018... there was a huge shift. Principal got changed. Seat capacity was increased from 200 to somewhere 600. The administration is horrible now. Once where students were not allowed to bring cell phones, are now bringing bikes with loud exhaust system. The campus is so tiny that if 50% every 4 semester students arrived then it's a huge mess. No seat to accommodate. Classes are suspended. Coming to teaching staff. They are all frustrated now with low energy levels. Old professors makes the class boredom with his out of syllabus lecture. Yes out of 50 professors 4-5 professors are good enough with their teaching skills. The college has no proper parking facilities. The ground that was accommodate to play is a car parking spot for professors. Admission in this college is just a cakewalk. Just pay 5000 to office staff. Yes you will find students having 65% getting admitted to this college. You will never find their name in merit list once cross checked. Paying 5000 to the admission staff is easy then paying 50,000 in a private college. Isn't it ⁉️ That's all about the college. If you want good quality education with a better campus life study directly under Guwahati University. If you are willing to spend for more quality education then go to Royal global university.

I was a student of this college for 11 and 12 standard alot of diversity was present and good people and memories of teen but as a coin has two side this college needs some improvement and enforcement no matter how much strict the teacher or guidline it has if the environment is bad everything is contaminated...but still good place

Let me very honest. KC Das commerce college is the worst college now. Gone those days where it to match GUWAHATI COMMERCE COLLEGE and use to be the finest commerce college in entire Assam. This college doesn't even deserve 1 star now. Located in Athgaon, hardly people know about this college. Even if you think that you are coming to a good college The college is no more strict. Out of 120 students in a class hardly 10-15 days will be present. If you are pursuing CA/CA or busy with your family business you can think of this college since attendance is not an issue. But if you are thinking of quality education , a friendly college campus life then just avoid this chapri college now. Professors now only read the book. They don't know how to interact with Students. Old traditional methods and just writing exams by learning books will give you zero knowledge and skills. You come and you go. That's how the life was. I today regret of being a part of this useless KC DAS COMMERCE COLLEGE.

I wasn't sure about the quality of teaching as I was only a visitor for a few hours. However, the infrastructure is impressive—surrounded by greenery and well-maintained.

I studied at K.C. Das Commerce College from 1st year to 2nd year, and honestly, I miss it a lot. The environment was peaceful, the teachers were supportive, and the bond I built with friends and faculty there still stays close to my heart. It wasn’t the fanciest college, but it felt like home. The way the teachers guided us and the simple, friendly vibe of the campus made my time there truly special.Now that I’m at Guwahati Commerce College, I realize how much KC Das helped shape me — both academically and personally. I’ll always be grateful for those days. — A proud ex-student

KC DAS COMMERCE COLLEGE comes in spotlight because of only class 12 result not because of UG/ PG COURSES. This college is not even close to Guwahati Commerce College. Even Arya college fares better. They coast on their old reputation. Very Tiny campus with no playground, rude staff, terrible facilities - bathrooms stinks, limited parking for scooters and bikes.

The only worst college to ever exist. There's no infrastructure neither any good faculty. They are very irresponsible. The management is so bad. They don't consider students as humans. They treat students like cows. Cows are treated better than students. Nothing is good about this college. This doesn't even deserve one star. Join this college only if you want to ruin your life, career, mental peace.
