Scandic Havet

This hotel is clean and well-run. There is plenty to see and do right around the hotel. The rooms are clean and simple. The bathroom is well-designed and includes a magnification mirror (very thoughtful addition), and the climate control within the room was also good, with good bedside lighting for reading.

Bodø has two Scandic hotels, and this is the newer one. You feel welcome the moment you walk through the door: a live bio-fireplace, an inviting reception area, and even free shuffleboard. The staff are friendly, and the reception offers basic snacks and toiletries 24/7. The rooms are spacious and well-kept, with several offering panoramic sea views. The top-floor restaurant has a balcony if you dare step outside with your drink, just try not to freeze... The breakfast is the best I’ve had at any hotel in the last three years. A proper, generous selection of everything you’d expect from a hotel breakfast. The only drawback was the coffee, which could use more strength; the option simply labelled “coffee” in the machine was quite weak. All in all, a fantastic hotel, and I’d happily stay here again.

Location is good, walkable to places around town. Good sea view from rooms

A hotel with a very central location and only a short walk to most things. The rooms on the upper floors have great views, where on a clear day it is possible to see Lofoten. Very good breakfast and restaurant with tip service on the 17th floor

The team at Havet went above and beyond to ensure that the stay was comfortable.||And if you plan to stay there, do not miss out on the views from the bar on the17th floor. Miguels Moctails are divine.

Stunning. Attentive staff great room with view. Breakfast was everything one could wish for . Bed was the most comfortable of our trip in Norway

Very nice staff, rooms and hotel. The management let us check in abit earlier than the checkin time. And there was shoe polisher in the hall near the elevator on all floors
