It was my go to place for sador mekhala’s but my last visit was very disappointing and disheartening because of their inconsiderate price quotes and very bad customer service. Quoting 25k for a piece of paator mekhala sador and coming down to 15k when asked for a discount is not how you run such a place. Don’t try to fool your customers.

Excellent selection of Mekhela/Chador & Assam Silk Sarees available. Prices much lower than those in Guwahati & other cities. Homely ambience to shop in leisurely. Also can place your own orders for customized products!

You can get cloths at a far less price than that at Guwahati. The minute perfection of the work can be found in their cloths unlike other shop where if you observe the cloths closely you can notice a lots of lose threads.

The trained artisans at work in the factory is a treat to the eyes, weaving magic on muga silk or pat silk. A wide variety of authentic Assam silk Saree, Mekhla, Jackets etc are available at various prices on different fabrics. Hardly a 10 minutes drive from Bastra Udyan.
