It's so beautiful and spooky on the inside🤓. Looking from the outside you can never imagine what's inside that gate, because it's going to take your breath away. It's just amazing. But the entry is restricted. You've to take permission from the VC before you enter and it's also written on the gate.

Quite impressed with this botanical garden cum mini forest managed by the Department of Botany, Gauhati University. They've range of floral species including some rare as well as critically endangered varieties. Laudable is that it's very well run with proper security arrangements.

A beautiful place inside the campus, it has a some good collection of plants and flowers. But more than that, the place is beautiful naturally by all itself.

You need to take permission from the HOD of Botani Dept. of Gauhati University before entering. It's not open for everyone. Only research scholars and students (for study purpose) can visit the garden.
