Gauhati University

Gauhati University also known as GU, is a collegiate public state university located in Guwahati, Assam, India. It was established on 26 January 1948 under the provisions of an Act enacted by the Assam Legislative Assembly and is the oldest university in Northeast India.[4] It is accredited with a grade of 'A+' by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council in its 4th cycle of accreditation on 5 July 2024.

Completed my BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering at Gauhati University, and the experience was both fun and fulfilling. Over the four years, I not only enjoyed campus life but also learned a lot of new things that helped shape my personality. It's a vibrant place for both academic and personal growth.

Vibrant and dynamic place, full of opportunities for learning and growth, the chance to expand one's horizons and learn about new cultures and ideas. Also great campus. Truly amazing. The University is beautiful and inviting, full of green spaces and beautiful buildings. The campus is alive with activity and the atmosphere is one of energy and excitement. Very diverse and engaging.
