It has been 1 month and 15 days since we applied for our baby’s passport (File No: GU1066639732326, applied on 19/01/2026), and the status is still showing “under review at Regional Passport Office.” Kindly request the concerned authorities to expedite the process. 🙏 #PassportDelay #PassportSeva I am writing to express my deep frustration regarding the delay in my baby’s passport application (File No: GU1066639732326), which was submitted on 19 January 2026. It has now been more than one month and fifteen days, and the application status is still showing “Under Review at Regional Passport Office” without any progress. Today, I contacted Passport Seva customer care seeking assistance to resolve this issue. Unfortunately, instead of helping to expedite or clarify the delay, I was simply advised to cancel the current application and submit a new one. This is extremely disappointing, as it does not address the actual problem or the long delay we have already experienced. As applicants, we expect the concerned authorities to review and process the application in a timely manner rather than suggesting that we cancel and start the process again after waiting for such a long period. This response is not a solution and reflects poorly on the support provided to applicants. I sincerely request the concerned authorities to immediately review the application status and take the necessary action to resolve this delay. If there is any issue with the application, please inform us clearly so it can be resolved without further unnecessary delays. I hope this matter will be treated with urgency and responsibility.

I know government offices in India are not well mentained but this office is so far the worst. Security guards specially are so rude and doesn't listen anything you say. They will make you wait for no reason.

I had the worst experience here,the security guards were so rude,they don’t have manners how to talk with people,I came so far for my passport ,but they did not listen to my problems………also before I come Guwahati,I tried to talk with them through call for confirmation but they hung up call on my face while I was still talking. After reading all the reviews on google somebody needs to take action! This is not right….we have spent a lot moreover some of us are not from Guwahati,not Son or daughter of PM Modi to come this far just to be stopped in the gate and go back empty handed

Receptionist who picked up the call was not helpful and hung up on me. I called back multiple times but he kept me on busy. This is such an unprofessional behaviour from someone who works in a government office. I simply called to get the status of my passport application filed a month and half ago.

Kindly visit RPO Guwahati once to check how they treat people on simple enquiries. They thought they are doing favour on people. people stay silent because of their needs but always ready to complaint only about Bank Employees behaviour.

I am writing regarding my PCC application (File No: GU1084934411725). It has already been 55 days since I submitted my application, but I am still waiting for the PCC to be issued. As per your recent email, you mentioned that my police verification is not yet completed. However, I personally checked with the concerned departments including the local Police Station, SP Office Dimapur, and the Special Branch Dimapur. They confirmed that my verification was completed and forwarded to the RPO on 03/09/2025. This conflicting information is very difficult to understand. Could you please clarify the exact status of my application? To whom should I contact further to resolve this matter? I urgently require the PCC for my employment abroad, and this delay is creating serious difficulties for me. I kindly request your urgent attention and support to resolve this matter at the earliest.

Very bad . Bonani Kakoti Form Basistha p.s applied on guwahati psk ( welfare , gs rd ) after applying and police verification done by both district and sp commissioner printing of passport was issued here The police told that we should call them for seeing the progress but no call all going to voice mail. Please handle customer service

No reply of phone calls and police verification still pending i applied passport 3 months ago and also send the documents through mail and by post as well
