Pratiksha Rainbow Children’s Hospital - Best Pediatric Hospital in Guwahati

​I recently had my baby delivered at this hospital, and overall, it was a very positive experience during such a monumental time in our lives. ​The medical care here is truly top-tier. The doctors and nurses were fantastic—they were not only professional and highly skilled but also incredibly supportive and empathetic. They are also always reachable by phone calls and whatsapp. They made us feel safe and well-cared for throughout the entire delivery process. ​While the medical side was flawless, the administrative side needs some attention. Specifically: Registration process: We had to go to different counter for registration, different counter for other services and different counter for final bill payment which made us very confused at times. ​Discharge Process: This took significantly longer than expected. After being cleared to go home, we spent a long time waiting for the final formalities to be completed. ​Clinical Report Delivery: Receiving the clinical medical reports was a slow process. Moreover delivery of reports, one has to to run from one building to another. ​If the hospital could streamline this processes and simplify paperwork and reduce the wait times for reports, this hospital will obviously a top class hospital. ​I would definitely recommend this hospital for the quality of the overall experience.

We stayed at this hospital for 3 days during my wife’s delivery, and our experience was truly excellent. The doctors were highly professional, patient, and explained every step clearly, which gave us great confidence and peace of mind. The nursing staff and support staff were very caring, attentive, and polite, always ready to help at any time. The rooms and facilities were clean, hygienic, and well-maintained, which is very important during such a crucial time. From admission to delivery and post-delivery care, everything was smooth and well-organized. We felt safe, supported, and well taken care of throughout our stay. I am very thankful to the entire team for their dedication and compassion. Highly recommended for maternity and child care.

I am so grateful for the entire nursing team and the staffs for Rainbow Children’s Hospital. Their dedication and kindness made the difficult time easier. Great hospital for children and pregnant women. Our experience with Dr Ruma Dutta was nothing sort of exceptional. Additionally since our delivery we have chosen Dr Partha P Bora as our child paediatrician. Another example of why we stuck to Pratiksha now Rainbow hospital. Although now that Pratiksha is now governed by Rainbow chain I hope they can fix/change few things including easy access to drinking water including cups to be available always and don’t have to carry our own bottles. A better seating are where children can run safely, there was a child play area which was not maintained well and now taken out but I think they should add it back and maintain it well so its safe for kids to play and its important because sometimes we have to wait for more than 3 hours to catch up with the doctors and having a play area makes it easy for us parents to handle the kids as they will have something to do to kill time. Additionally this reminds me, if I have taken an appointment for 2 pm and I am there by 1.30, yet by the time I get to meet the doctors its already past 3. I mean, whats the point of taking an appointment??? I hope the management can sort this out and make sure only accommodate enough patients so that we don’t have to needlessly wait with a sick child. And most importantly I want to highlight it’s not just mothers who come with their kids sometimes its just fathers too. And so we need to have a changing room either common or for men too. Otherwise like me fathers will have to change their kid in front of everyone in the seating are, which for one is not hygienic and second of all not everyone likes to see kids being changed.

I had an exceptional experience at this hospital. Every department worked together with professionalism and compassion. The doctors and consultant were excellent. Their confidence and clarity gave me great comfort and trust from the very beginning of my consultation and upto the very minute I was discharged. The nurses were attentive at all hours, quick to respond, and incredibly gentle and caring. Their dedication made me feel supported throughout my stay. The dietician provided thoughtful guidance on my diet. The housekeeping staff kept the environment spotless, fresh, and comfortable every single day. From the reception to the ward helpers, everyone was polite, organized, and always ready to assist. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better care. Thank you to the entire Pratiksha hospital team for your professionalism, kindness, and commitment.

The hospital is a well-established facility with good amenities. The doctor is warm, welcoming, and empathetic, while the staff’s behaviour is truly commendable. Although the integrated services take some time - possibly due to limited manpower - the availability of online reports is a convenient feature. Patient care appears to be well-managed. This was our first visit for an early pregnancy check-up, and the experience so far has been smooth. Since the hospital specializes in this field, we are hopeful for the best outcomes in the future.

I’m really happy with the services at this centre for my 3-year-old child. The environment is child-friendly and the staff are respectful and helpful. Jahangir Mallik is an excellent speech therapist—calm, kind, and very professional. He is punctual, explains things clearly, and handles children with so much care and patience. I’ve seen genuine improvement in my daughter’s skills since starting therapy here. Highly recommended for parents looking for quality speech therapy .
