Lachit Nagar Post Office

The staff are too grumpy,slow & lazy especially the two ladies they will stare at you with angry face if you come to parcel / post & not to do with finance / monetary stuff. Came to courier, they told me wait for few hours as they are busy with some other work or come again in the afternoon after 1 pm. Told them I’ll wait cos I don’t have time to travel up & down to P.O twice a day then they asked me to go to other post office. Like are you for real madam? Its disgusting!! Their customer service & work ethic is horrible. No sense of responsibility at all. They are avoiding work which obviously is causing inconvenience to the customers. You guys need to do better please .

No hate, just sharing my personal experience with this post office over the past few months. If you’re planning to book a speed post or parcel here, come at your own risk Be prepared to wait for at least an hour. The staff usually crowd around and handle one person’s work together instead of working individually. They won’t even start processing your parcel until all the paperwork or entries are completed, regardless of when you arrived. Their explanation? “Paperwork is faster.” But in reality, you’ll be stuck waiting. It’s completely inefficient and unfair to others in line. Just wanted to give a heads-up so you’re not caught off guard. And if you’re booking more than 5 packages, be ready for a frustrating experience. You might not be responded to properly, and you’ll often see staff murmuring among themselves while ignoring your queries.✌️

Firstly the staff were very rude and they ignored us. We didn't know much abt sending parcel, so asked them and they said , " are we supposed to do all that work ?". There were 2 ladies who just kept staring at us although they were the staffs they didn't even bother and were just sitting down not doing any work. As someone said in the review before they were very non systematic, truly agree with that. Never going to this post office again. Got my work done at other post office.

The most slowest and non-systematic workers. All the 3 ladies keeps working on one person without any division of work for each person. They told me thrice to come tomorrow or next time. One lady is very rude. Even tried to return my package back.

Visiting this post office for old person is somewhat problematic coz the office is on 1st floor. But the employees are very cooperative. You can do almost all post related work except speed post and online work.

Noone present in post office till 10.30am. it shows the Post office opens at 9am.
