Nothing was actually available here, we asked for tomato rice, lemon rice, none of it was available. Which is strange because how much ingredients do you even need to make tomato rice or lemon rice. Anyway, the dosa at khushboo restaurant is far better than the dosa served here. Paper thin and crispy, not how dosa is supposed to be, cheese wasn't melted properly. Taste was okay, not that great according to the price. South Indian cuisine based restaurants in Guwahati has always turned out a bit of disappointment. The other dishes were also okay.

We visited Hotel Annapurna during our Assam trip with Global Tours from Bangalore. The South Indian food here is the best vegetarian food in Guwahati — fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. The service was polite, quick, and welcoming, making us feel at home away from home. Highly recommended for all South Indian food lovers

It’s a nice vegetarian place with good South Indian food — dosas, idlis, etc. The ambiance is decent, staff are polite, and prices are fair (₹200-₹400 per head). Food was tasty, though took a little time. Overall it’s a good spot when you want simple, clean food without spending too much.

Very Very bad experience at Annapuram. The food quality was disappointing and did not meet expectations at all. On top of that, the service was extremely late, which made the whole visit frustrating. Overall, not a pleasant dining experience and definitely not recommended. Also dirty. Need to train your cook how to prepare the actual taste of authentic food and service boys needs basic etiquette. Pathetic.

Amazing food enjoyed to the last bite. Had variety of dosas, idly and vada. Everything was a bliss. Visited there on a sunday...a very busy place indeed. Everything tatsed very authentic and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Definetly I would recommend the place to anyone who wants to try South Indian delicacies. Their service was too late. Had to waste a lot of time almost my apitite diet...first by waiting for the table and next for waiting for food. If they improved the service they can further excel.

Go for the food, stay for the service. I cannot adequately describe our overall experience. The food was outstanding, service superlative and prices moderate. We were served by Rohan Chetry-one of the friendliest, professional service person I have seen. Puts customer first-always. Overall a great experience. We had Idli, Thali, Rawa masala dosa, Mysore masala dosa and masala dosa. I would go back repeatedly The entrance, like all houses, public buildings in Guwahati, is not user friendly for elderly/wheel chair access etc but the staff ensure that steps were brought to make the stepping in as comfortable for my elderly mother. For this I am very grateful and doff my hat.

Food's great. If you want to enjoy south Indian food, and even mix/fusion south Indian dishes, you must visit this place. The interior is quite good here. There's a vibe, the lights are also good. With light fm Music this place is good to grab a South Indian snack with family, friends and loved ones. Do try the filter coffee also. They have an upstairs sitting also. The service is really good and there's rarely a delay in getting your food on the table. Prices are good, a little bit on the high end but then again you get quality food, which won't disappoint you. You can also find other dishes here. The place is totally vegetarian.

Being a fan of South Indian dishes, I'm quite critical about the taste. The place was recommended to me by many people. When I visited, I initially ordered a simple Masala Dosa (I judge South Indian restaurants by their Dosas), a sweet Lassi. I can feel the quality at the crispy-ness of the wafer. The masala inside was well cooked. The chutneys provided were also superior. The sambar was mild, a balance between hot and tangy. I took my time enjoying it. Lassi was a refreshing soul in the heat, I gulped the whole in one go and had to order another one. To clarify I am very meticulous in spending but they impressed me so much I decided to try their Papdi-Chaat. And as expected I got one of the best Chaat. After the episode I went again and tried their dosa and lassi. Due to my budget constraints I wasn't able to savour their other dishes.
