Dosa Express Namma Chennai

Worst South Indian food I’ve had in a long time. The dosa had no proper fermentation or crispness, the sambar lacked depth and tasted like instant mix, and the chutneys were bland and forgettable. This is nowhere near authentic Chennai flavor. Using the name “Namma Chennai” sets expectations that are completely unmet.

Absolutely loved the masala dosa! Perfectly crisp on the outside, soft and flavorful inside. The tomato chutney was outstanding, fresh, tangy, and bursting with flavor, and the sambar was incredibly tasty, aromatic, and felt freshly made. Every bite was comforting and satisfying. Definitely one of the best dosas I’ve had. Highly recommended!

I really like their sambar and bada.. n usually order from there only but today I didn't recive the coconut chutney and bki other chutney...mix plate order kia tha jo jo mention Kia h atleast send bhi Krna chahiye not okay 🙏

The cheese masala dosa and medu vada definitely has to be my favourite. And a all time go-to order. It's really affordable, good portion, value of money and a lotttt tastier than most of the south indian restaurantsnin guwahati. Definitely one of my fav outlets.

Very good dosa..we ordered a plan dosa and paper dosa...very good crispy and coconut chutney is very good..sambar is also good..overall experience is good

I went dosa express at zoo road on 15/01/2026. I ordered combo .then I got a surprise as an insect in idli. No hygiene maintained.

best dosa restaurant in Guwahati as of my opinion.. delicious dosa platter.Ordered a cup of chai which they gave us in a traditional south indian style.Credits to the staff for their hospitality. Definitely a worthy place for those who love south indian food.

I had Rava butter masala dosa at Bangalore Airport on my trip.. n it was so delicious that I searching this in ghy n found on Google map about this restaurant... I think only this restaurant serves this dosa n it was superb... We had Mendu bora First which I forgot to take pics ...than rava butter masala dosa, rava khichadi is a sweet semolina halwa with desi ghee..n filter coffee... avoidable tasty authentic South flavours so definitely recommend must try
