I highly recommend this company especially for anyone visiting from outside of India like we did. We heard about how they run a shared taxi from Guwahati airport to Shillong, so I looked up their website to ask about their private cab service directly from Guwahati airport to the Wakhen village (Bamboo trek) without stopping in Shilliong. They responded very quickly on Whatsapp, gave a clear price and told me to book about a week in advance. I paid the deposit (I used Wise), received an official receipt and the driver picked us from our hotel near the airport. I was worried that the driver would not stop for lunch, but he did without any issues. Then our guesthouse called that the road to the village will be blocked for construction until 4 PM!!! The driver was very patient and even took us to Umiam lake to kill time before the road opened.
