The jetty serves as the main gateway to Umananda Temple. It is well maintained, and the ticketing system is well organized. Both government and private ferries operate from here, with separate ticket counters for each. The round-trip ticket to Umananda Temple costs ₹100 on the government ferry. Brahmaputra River cruises are also available from this jetty. The evening cruise offers a beautiful view and is highly enjoyable. Online ticket booking is available; however, tickets are usually easily available at the counter, with minimal queues. Therefore, advance booking for visiting Umananda Temple is generally not required

Went with Star Cruise Brahmaputra.... They had very clean bathrooms and Tea was provided on board. It took around 1.5 hours in total. The Sunset view on the brahmaputra was also amazing.

I recently visited Umananda Ghat in Guwahati, and I was utterly mesmerized by the experience! Located on the banks of the majestic Brahmaputra River, this ghat is a haven of peace, tranquility, and spiritual connection. As I walked along the ghat, I was struck by the stunning views of the river and the surrounding landscape. The sunset was particularly breathtaking, with the sky turning into a kaleidoscope of colors. But what truly made my experience special was the sense of spirituality that pervades the ghat. The sound of the river flowing, the chanting of mantras, and the gentle breeze all combined to create a deeply peaceful atmosphere. I was also impressed by the cleanliness and maintenance of the ghat. The authorities have done an excellent job of keeping the area clean and tidy, making it a pleasure to visit. Whether you're looking for a peaceful spot to relax, a place to connect with your spiritual side, or simply a location to take in the stunning views, Umananda Ghat is a must-visit destination. *Rating:* 5/5 stars *Pros:* Stunning views, peaceful atmosphere, spiritual significance, clean and well-maintained *Cons:* None! *Recommendation:* Visit Umananda Ghat at sunset to experience the breathtaking views and peaceful atmosphere. Be respectful of the local customs and traditions, and take a moment to connect with the spiritual energy of the place."

The newly inaugurated gateway is beautiful and well maintained. The ticket system is also well organised and the tickets are reasonably priced so that everyone can visit Umananda temple. The ferries are also good. However, the ferry operators are not very well trained.

If you go with government farry it's reasonable. It's cost you 40₹ per person for up and down from umananda temple to ghat. But if you go with private boat or farry it's cost you 200₹ per person and it's very much negotiable.
