The Blue Orchid Resort

We visited Blue Orchid on 12th Feb 26,last month Around 12.30 to 3 pm. Food was nice But the behaviour of staff was surprisingly very poor regarding how much time we spent there and we took half an our for ordering main course of food Specially (guy who served us named Kushol, কুশল). We also discussed about the matter immediately with the manager (guy named himself Sittoranjan, চিত্তৰঞ্জন নাথ ) But nothing working. At last we decided to leave the place. Thanks 🙏.

Food was average in this place. I ordered butter naan, jeera aloo and chicken butter masala which was just okay. This resort is quite spacious with plenty of outdoor space. I haven't stayed here so not sure about the rooms. Not much activities to do there. Families can go and just chill. One shouldn't expect much from this place.

Great place for weddings and events. It's easy to get to on NH 37 and the property itself is beautiful, with big, green lawns. They have a good number of rooms and a huge banquet hall, so it's perfect for big parties. While the service can be a bit slow at times, especially during busy events, the serene setting makes up for it. The food is decent and the prices are reasonable. A solid choice if you're looking for an event venue outside of Guwahati.

Excellent environment 👏 but not so good food. Had breakfast.. Puri was very oily, burnt but half cooked.

Overall location was great wedding venue, multiple spaces and options for different events of the wedding.

Had 🍤 shrimp fried rice it was oky oky But I'll not try again tho

The location is very good, only few kilometers from the guwahati city. The resort is suitable for all kinds of visitors. The entire area is calm and visitors can enjoy their quality times. One can stay here too. The rooms are excellent in condition with all modern facilities. The place is safe and luxurious. Kids can play here in the playground. Few playing items aare also available here for the kids too. The food menu has different types of items including vegetarian and non vegetarian options. The items have different categories from snack to dinner. The price tags are little bit high but justified. The non vegetarian items are more popular here. There is no kids menu so customers may request special non spicy food items. The seating arrangements are also good. Few cabins are also available, some of them have air condition facility. A large dinning area is also available here. Parking area is large and enough for the visitors which are free of cost too. Washbasins and washrooms are available but not so hygienic. Staff is good and very cooperative. Service is also good and fast. Alcohol is also served here on request. Ice cream lovers can have variety of options here. Overall this is one of the best resorts of thia area where people may spent their quality times with their near and dear ones.
