This is a beautiful place to spend quality time with family and friends. It's a newly developed riverfront located along the banks of the Brahmaputra River. The entire area is covered with lush green lawns, colorful flowers, and tall trees, creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere. There's a separate zone for children, equipped with safe and fun play structures. The park also features a musical zone with various musical instruments, allowing music enthusiasts to experiment and enjoy a creative break. From here, you can enjoy stunning views of the Brahmaputra River and North Guwahati. Watching the sunset against the backdrop of North Guwahati is a memorable experience that makes the evening even more magical. Whether you're looking for relaxation, recreation, or simply a beautiful place to unwind, this park promises a memorable outing for everyone.

A beautiful place to spend quality time with your family and friends, this newly opened park offers a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The entire stretch is covered in lush green lawns, vibrant flowers, and tall trees that create a calm and soothing atmosphere. There is a separate zone dedicated to children, equipped with safe and engaging play structures. The park also features a musical zone fitted with various instruments, allowing music lovers to experiment and enjoy a creative break. From here, you can take in the breathtaking view of the Brahmaputra River and North Guwahati. Watching the sunset against the backdrop of North Guwahati is an unforgettable experience that adds magic to the evening. At the moment, entry to the park is completely free for the next few months, so I encourage everyone to visit and spend some delightful moments in this beautiful space. Whether you’re looking for relaxation, recreation, or a scenic spot to unwind, this park promises a memorable outing for all.

I recently visited the Brahmaputra Riverfront and was genuinely struck by how beautifully the space has been developed; it offers such a serene escape with its well-maintained walkways and vibrant orange entrance gate that really sets a welcoming tone. For the time being, entry is free, which makes it a fantastic accessible spot for a peaceful stroll or to enjoy the breeze off the water without any cost barrier. However, despite the efforts to keep the grounds pristine, it’s disheartening to see the "true colors" of some visitors already starting to mar the experience, as spitting on the walls and walkways is becoming a noticeable issue that threatens to ruin the aesthetic and hygiene of the park. It is a stunning addition to the city’s landscape, but its longevity and beauty will truly depend on whether the public can start respecting the space as much as the authorities have invested in it.

Really enjoyed the walk along the newly inaugurated riverfront and the cable car across the river to the Doul Govinda temple. While I did not take the sunset cruise, was able to watch the sunset from the riverfront. If you stick to the walkway, you don’t run the risk of slipping on the rather polished stones that line the park. Having some attendants to help direct the traffic towards the parking lots will also be helpful. It’s free entry till Apr’26 and explains the crowds today - with the entrance fee setting in, we should expect visitors who keep the park even cleaner by using the waste bins placed across the path.

An excellent place to spend time with your kids. The best time to visit is before sunset 🌇 as you will get to view the beautiful Brahmaputra river in its serene nature. The place is well maintained and clean. There is a kids playing area which includes slides, merry-go-round etc. There are washrooms available. Currently there is no entry fee. Parking is also available.

Indeed a beautiful and peaceful riverfront park. Perfect for evening walks and spending time with family and friends. The view of the river adds a calming charm, and the overall atmosphere feels refreshing and well-maintained too. Now, it's on the visitors to maintain the cleanliness and modesty of the park :)

The Brahmaputra Riverfront is a beautiful and refreshing place to spend time, especially during the evening. The views of the mighty Brahmaputra are stunning, and the riverfront is well developed with clean walkways, seating areas, and proper lighting. It’s a great spot for peaceful walks, photography, and relaxing with family or friends. The ambience becomes even more pleasant around sunset, with cool river breeze and scenic views. The place is well maintained and feels safe, making it suitable for all age groups. Overall, it’s a must-visit spot in Guwahati to experience the beauty of the river and enjoy some calm moments away from the city rush.

Blew me away, this may be the best riverfront in India. Extremely neat, well-designed, and human-centric. Plenty of benches, trees, and even eateries (including a nice Starbucks). Entry is temporarily free, but I think it is usually paid. Must visit, especially during sunset. Just be careful of the mosquitoes and wear a mask as the air is unfortunately quite dusty.
