Shukreshwar temple sitauated in panbazar is one of the important temples in guwahati . The temple complex have A Huge Shiva ling and Lord Janardhan temple. Every Indian Rituals are done here, from birth to marriage. Sitting on the stairs right at the bank of Mighty Brahmaputra River is very peaceful.

Shukreswar Ghat: A Mixed Bag of Views and Neglect Shukreswar Ghat offers an amazing boat ride experience on the Brahmaputra River. The views from the water are undoubtedly beautiful, providing a unique perspective of Guwahati and the river's expanse. It's a great way to enjoy the tranquility of the river. However, the overall experience at the ghat itself is unfortunately marred by its condition. The ghat area is noticeably dirty, which detracts from the spiritual and scenic appeal. Furthermore, the poor infrastructure regarding the steps and surrounding areas is a significant concern. The steps leading down to the river can be uneven and require careful navigation, and the general lack of maintenance is evident. While the boat ride is a definite highlight, the cleanliness and infrastructure at Shukreswar Ghat could use significant improvement to make it a truly pleasant and welcoming destination. It's a place with great potential, but currently, it falls short in terms of basic upkeep and facilities.

Sukreshwar Ghat is a pleasant riverside spot where visitors can enjoy boat and ferry rides on the Brahmaputra. The place has natural charm and offers a peaceful experience, especially for those who enjoy river views. However, the ghat is not being properly maintained. Due to heavy crowds, food wrappers and other waste are often seen lying around, which affects the overall cleanliness and beauty of the area. There is a clear need for better waste management. The government should consider installing more dustbins and taking focused steps towards cleanliness and regular maintenance, so that this important public place can be enjoyed in a cleaner and more pleasant environment by everyone.

Beautiful sunset view , one of the best sunset viewing places in Guwahati but would like it to be little more cleaner, because people throw plastic bottles and all to the water
