We arrived around 7:50 PM for our reservation and placed our orders at about 8:00 PM. After waiting for an hour, the kare-kare was the first to arrive. Unfortunately, it was overly sweet (in my opinion, the sweetest kare-kare I’ve ever tasted), which was quite disappointing. About 10–15 minutes later, the appetizer was finally served — meaning it took roughly 1 hour and 15 minutes just for the appetizer to arrive. The grilled salmon, however, was excellent — 10/10, absolutely delicious. The paella was on the salty side for our taste (4/10). They gave us a complimentary dessert, which we appreciated (perhaps they noticed we were a bit disappointed). Well, disappointing experience especially we were celebrating our 9th anniversary today 😅 The overall ambiance was superb. I’m writing this review not to bash the place, but to provide feedback for improvement. It would be a shame if the service and food don’t match the beautiful ambiance. Still looking forward to your continued success!

The place is pretty and has interesting decorations to look at. It's not classic, more artistic. The food was hit or miss, but the hits were good enough to give this place a 4 stars for me. The Kare Kare was delicious and tasted different, but a good different. My only complaint is that it was such a tiny portion, we wanted more of it. The paella negra was good with plenty of squid ink. The tinola was sweet so kinda weird. Lychee coffee was just what it sounds, not my cup of tea haha. The spring rolls were refreshing but I'm not sure I would get it again. We came here due to the pictures others posted but not all were on the menu anymore so check first if there's something you are really wanting. We really wanted the pork skewers and glazed shrimp but didn't see them on the menu. Show the staff the pictures tho because we found the tinola when we showed them the pic.

The fried chicken with sweet potato is a must try! The place is accessible by public transportation, easy to locate, and strategically placed. Loved the ambiance of the place too!

Antigua Restaurant offers a premium dining experience in the heart of Naga, blending Filipino heritage with modern flair. The ambience sets the tone immediately — walls adorned with Filipino-inspired paintings create a cozy yet upscale feel that harmonizes beautifully with the restaurant’s thoughtfully curated Filipino menu. We started with the prawn salad, which was a delightful opener: fresh, well-balanced, and tastefully presented. A highlight was the picadillo, plated with a gourmet touch that elevated the classic dish to something special. Each item we tried reflected careful attention to detail in both flavor and presentation. While the pricing is competitive — comparable to more affordable restaurants in the city — the servings lean toward the smaller side. This may be a drawback for those expecting hearty portions, but it's just right for diners seeking quality over quantity. Antigua shines as a charming spot for intimate dinners, date nights, or small gatherings. Its atmosphere and culinary finesse make it a worthy visit for anyone craving Filipino flavors in an elegant yet relaxed setting.

My expectations were not met in this one as I assume that given their price point the gastronomical experience would be far superior than other joints in Naga City. Their food is aesthetically pleasing to the eye but even though we first eat with our eyes, it's our tastebuds that eventually tell our brain that the food is magnificent in which this is where it fell short. I was not amazed by the food we got save for one redeeming item which is the glazed prawns.

I’ve got nothing but good things to say about this restaurant. From the appetizers to the mains, everything tastes so good. The real standouts were the Paella Negra and Patatas Bravas. Drinks were also on point! Loved the vibe too, modern Spanish Filipino style with cool pop art paintings everywhere. Big shoutout to our waiter for letting us order cocktails even if it wasn’t dinner yet. Hope the restaurant updates that policy since some of us just want to enjoy a little day drinking.

**Reservation Process:** Antiguá Restaurant's online presence for reservations falls short, with delayed responses to messages, texts, and calls. It took three days to receive a reply via messenger, showcasing a lack of efficiency in managing booking requests. It is also rude that all my calls are all declined and ignored. **Advance Order Process:** While they offer an option to order in advance, our experience was marred by delayed service. Despite placing an order two days early, the food arrived 1.5 hours late, leaving us hungry and frustrated with the sluggish service. **Service:** The waiter, though polite, seemed unprepared and uninformed about our reservation and advance orders, leading to repetition and disappointment. The lack of attention to pre-placed orders reflected poorly on their service standards. He later asked me to show the list of advanced orders and he copied it in his little notebook. That’s when I knew that my advanced orders were not prepared in advance. **Ambiance and Atmosphere:** Antiguá Restaurant excels in creating a luxurious and calm ambiance, complemented by notable paintings from Philippine National Artists. The surroundings offer a visually appealing atmosphere, allowing patrons to appreciate art while waiting. **The Food:** 1. **Seafood Chowder Soup:** The soup lacked actual seafood elements, providing only the taste without the expected seafood bits. It resulted in a plain chowder soup with croutons. 2. **Seafood Medley Black Pasta Aglio Olio:** The pasta, while decent, was slightly dry with inadequate seafood toppings. Mushroom abundance overshadowed the promised seafood, not justifying its price. 3. **Balsamic Grilled Pork Chops:** Excellent plating and presentation showcased well-cooked, flavorful pork chops. However, the meat was overly marinated, exhibiting a hint of sourness, which may not suit all palates. 4. **Jasmine Rice:** The rice received no complaints, as it was perfectly prepared, meeting expectations. 5. **NY Cheesecake:** The cheesecake stood out with perfect flavor and texture. However, the graham foundation lacked butter, causing it to crumble when sliced. **Overall:** Antiguá Restaurant fell short of expectations in both service and food quality during our fine dining experience. Exploring different menu options might reveal their strengths in specific dishes.

An accidently Gem of a restaurant. Fairly priced fine dining, which provided the ambiance and service to go with it. The food was delicious, and so was the experience. Server King provided top-notch service A recommended try when in Naga Doesn't hurt to reserve ahead of time
