Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing this with deep disappointment regarding the experience I had at the GMCH Blood Bank. I usually avoid writing complaints, but this time the situation has become unbearable. My father has been a dialysis patient for the last three years and requires blood transfusion almost every month. Like me, there are many others who go through this struggle regularly. Unfortunately, the staff working at the blood bank are often unhelpful, indifferent, and at times very rude. They seem to lack basic empathy and communication skills while dealing with people who are already under immense stress due to their loved ones’ health conditions. On 7th October, I had submitted my blood sample at the reception to donate blood on 8th October for my father. However, when I went there on the 8th, after waiting in a long queue, the counter staff told me that my sample was submitted on 6th October — which is completely impossible. This kind of negligence and mismanagement is unacceptable. Because of this confusion and carelessness, my father’s treatment got delayed, and he is now suffering due to low blood levels. I sincerely request the concerned authorities to look into this matter seriously. Such mistakes and attitudes should not be tolerated, especially in a place where human lives depend on timely and accurate work. Improve the blood bank transaction overall procedure. Get a "May I Ask You" desk in the blood bank so that a Layman can atleast learn the process of blood/platelet transaction details. Ask the counter personnel to have a helping attitude towards everyone. They are being enquired by the public not for irritating them but for genuinely getting some idea about the blood bank processes. Queue system will be followed by common masses with ease only if they know they are in the correct queue. Make the process transparent and clear. Improve the infrastructure of sample collection and handwritten blood/component requisition form. I hope the review will not be deleted for pointing out flaws. Full Hearted Co-operation is sought. With the inauguration of state-of-the-art C&N Centre of GMCH by Hon’ble Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah on 9thMay 2022, Assam's health infra will get a new boost under the leadership of Hon'ble Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma dangoriya. The centre will provide improved medical facilities to the people.

I had been to the Emergency dept of GMCH Guwahati on 10th May by 8 pm as one of the worker got severed middle finger in his left hand at around 645 pm while working on the machine. I witnessed the pathetic system being followed there right from Registrtion - xray counter payment- then taking xray in the radiology section - then back to emergency dept surgery table - then surgical section where the detached phalanx got amputated - thereafter running between the outside pharmacy and surgical room for the required medicines and dressing materials - thereafter standing in front of those junior doctors to collect the investigations case sheet with medicines being prescribed.. None of the staff there including those hunior duty doctors speak in detail. Nothing there is free of cost. Everything you have to pay.minimum 10 maximum 1000.right from registration,x ray,surgical dressing,all you need money.i had spent around 6000 including medicines and dressing items. I left for home by midnight after seeing off the family members taking the injured staff along. Pathetic.

Hospital is clean but not too much.....their security guard staff is so rude behaviour and so much attitude I feel like they are director of the hospital and I'm garbage collector 🙂....I have seen them miss behave with other people also....even woman's too......Plzz Train them well how to talk with people and patients🙏

Need some interior development for such a huge Emergency Service...and coordinator for patients so that they receive the proper medical assistance
