Visiting IIT Guwahati has been such a wonderful experience, and I can easily say it deserves a full 5 out of 5. The campus is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by hills and the Brahmaputra, which gives it a peaceful and scenic atmosphere that you don’t usually expect from an academic institution. Every corner feels calm and green, almost like you’re in a retreat rather than a busy campus. My boyfriend is doing his PhD there, so I’ve had the chance to see more than just the surface. The research facilities are impressive, and the academic environment feels very motivating. It’s clear that the institute attracts bright minds and provides them with the right support to grow. What I also love is how well-planned the campus is—it has everything within reach: hostels, labs, dining options, and even spaces to relax. The vibe is friendly and welcoming, not just academically intense. There’s a good balance between study and community life, which makes the place feel like home for students. For me, it’s not just an institute but also a place where I’ve made some beautiful memories visiting him. Between the natural surroundings, the academic excellence, and the overall positive energy, IIT Guwahati really leaves a lasting impression. Definitely a solid 5/5.

Visited IIT Guwahati recently, and I must say — it’s one of the most beautiful and peaceful campuses I’ve ever seen. The moment you enter the main gate, everything changes — the air gets calmer, the surroundings get greener, and the silence starts speaking. The entire campus is nestled between hills and touches the mighty Brahmaputra, giving it a completely serene, almost meditative vibe. Whether you’re here for academics, research, or just a visit — the environment itself inspires focus and inner calm. The infrastructure is excellent, and the campus roads are clean and well-planned. Security and entry management are also well-handled. Walking inside felt less like visiting a college and more like stepping into a place that quietly challenges and nurtures you. Highly recommended for aspirants, visitors, and nature lovers alike.
