A field suitable for sports in all seasons. Many games sponsored by Fancode are held in this field. The management is very good. Apart from cricket, training for football, swimming, and other sports is held here by Guahati Town Club.

History of Judges Field and Guwahati Town Club (GTC) Judges Field, located in the heart of Guwahati, Assam, is one of the city's oldest and most iconic open grounds. Named due to its proximity to the colonial-era residences of British judges, it has been a central venue for political rallies, sports events, cultural programs, and social gatherings since the British Raj. The field witnessed key moments during India’s independence movement and continues to host significant public events. Adjacent to Judges Field is the historic Guwahati Town Club (GTC), established in 1906, making it one of the oldest sports clubs in Northeast India. Founded by Assamese nationalists and British officials, GTC played a pioneering role in promoting modern sports in Assam. It introduced football, hockey, cricket, and athletics to the local population and became a symbol of Assamese pride and identity. The club was instrumental in nurturing early sports talents and hosted inter-club tournaments that drew participation from across the region. Together, Judges Field and GTC represent the socio-cultural heartbeat of Guwahati—combining colonial history, sporting legacy, and community spirit. Even today, they remain vital spaces for both recreation and regional pride in Assam.

The Judges Field enjoyed the status of the main playground of Guwahati till the inauguration of the Nehru Stadium. This field was particularly more sought after between the 1950s and 1962. It was developed by the colonial British rulers as a playground and an open space in the heart of the Guwahati town between the 1870s and 1880s. It had a vast area then, as it also covered the area which is now known as the Nehru Park. But later, it was divided into two separate fields in the early 1900, when the Station Road was laid through it. This road is now known as the Lakshminath Bezbaroa Road. The part separated from the Judges Field on the western side became known as the Church Field and it has now become known as the Nehru Park
