IITG Bus Starting Point Pan Bazaar

The bus either starts from the bus stop adjacent to the exit point of Railway station near Reserve Bank of India OR the street near Mahendra Nath Phukan hostel Cotton University. Just keep an eye for Green Valley bus or a bus with IIT displayed on the windscreen of the bus. Visitors / non students are charged rs. 25 upto IIT Ghy.

The designated bus stops are not good places to wait. Doesn't matter if you come early or late. The strongest passenger makes their way first into the bus anyway. To get an assured seat in the bus go to the starting point to board the bus.

This place is in front of RBI building crossing. The IIT Guwahati bound buses leave every hour with few exceptions from 8 am to 8:30 pm in all the days of the week. Sometimes buses are parked in Lakshmanath Bezbaruah road. One need to be careful.

A little bit dirty place. Usually bus comes a little bit late (usually 15 to 20 min). The quality of the buses is fine but not that great. They take 10 rs. Charge for outsiders.

Some people called the name of this place RBI..but I didn't see any branch of RBI in this locality. At this place is the square(Chowk) ... You will have to search in every direction where the buses are standing.

This is a place where one will get buses to IIT Guwahati. Sometimes bus stops near Cotton college hostel, and sometimes it stops on the opposite side near the railway quarters.

There is no bus stop. U have to look for green bus they can be parked anywhere. No place to sit.

The bus terminus is spread in a large area outside the city area. The facilities for the bus passengers are well taken by the authorities.
