This place has become overrated. Had chicken steam momo here for 90/-(it was 80/- few months back) and I don't think i had worse momos than these. The outer layer was so thick and tasteless. The local eateries on the side footpath serve better than this!

Food - 4.8/5 Probably one of the OG momo joints, I have been fortunate to have tasted the momo when it was priced at 30 INR to now when it is priced at 80 INR. Over the time it has downgraded a bit in taste. But it still packs a competition among all other momo joints of Guwahati. Very affordable and quality condiments to enhance the flavours are provided. Unpopular opinion: Mayonnaise is very overrated with momo, and it was introduced very recently due to the taste of GenZ Service - 4.1/5 Very packed hence very fast paced service. Mostly customer service is not their strongest suit so don't expect a 'Hello Sir, how have you been your day and what can I offer you today?' Momo wait time is hardly 1-2 mins. Atmosphere - 3.8/5 Very old low benches for sitting and a washbasin without a tap and rather a water jug to clean your hands before consuming the food. Overall verdict - 4.2/5 All the outdated facilities and cramped sitting has a quite nostalgic feeling since my childhood outings have been in this 30+ year old food heaven. I am very fortunate the place is still running strong and I wish it would last 100 more years.

We are visiting Guwahati for the first time and This was one of the recommended places to try momos in Guwahati by most. I personally feel this is over-hyped and is a very average place. No parking space available for 4 wheelers. 2 wheelers you can park.

I didn't like the momo, just eat one piece. The layer was too thick and taste was disgusting. I don't know how their reviews were good, may be I have eaten better momo than this or people visiting here have different taste.

The quality has gone down. Earlier, the momos used to be juicy and very soft. Now they’ve lost the juiciness and taste like any other momo shop.

A very congested eatery! No doubt they serve tasty momos but their service are devoid of any hospitality like any other restaurant in any other place. Their attitude towards customers be like: you have come to eat, so eat as much you like and leave. In addition, the soup need improvement as it doesn’t serve the purpose. I will recommend this place only if you are diehard momo lovers. On the other, if you are looking for quality time with your friends and family along with a plate of momo and soup , you may kindly opt for another restaurant/hotel.

Momo ghar is ❤️💖❤️💖. First mono seller in the city from 1990s I have been eating mono from my school days and I like their momo. Nice seating arrangements. Cash/upi/card payments available for your convenience. Staffs are very polite. Cold drinks also available

One of the worst momo experience I have had in my life. I think those people who are making it, should taste real momo sonewhere first and then try to make it once again... Absolutely, disgusted... 🥲
