It’s a large freshwater lake and a declared Ramsar site, famous for its rich biodiversity and migratory birds. Birdwatchers will absolutely love this place, as species like storks, pelicans, and kingfishers can often be spotted here. The calm waters, surrounded by greenery, make it a perfect escape from the city’s hustle and bustle. It is not only an ecological hotspot but also a favorite picnic and photography destination. The best time to visit is during the winter months (October to March), when the weather is pleasant, and you can see thousands of migratory birds flocking here. Evenings are particularly beautiful, with the sunset reflecting on the lake. This view point located by the side of Deepor Beel offers panoramic vistas of the Deepor Beel,a natural wetland and its surroundings. But the irony is that Deepor Beel is fast losing its natural charm due to the construction activities that is going on around the beel. So it is high time for necessary action to save this natural beauty.

This place is a calm paradise lake with an incredible scenic views. You can do Weekend or evening tours with family and friends, make a place for your bucket list. But at last I just wants to request to all the visitors those come here, don't make mess around the lake. I have seen lots of waste plastic bottles, polithin bags, packets and all. Be clean make clean.

A good place to hangout and relax!! You can witness various kinds of birds especially cranes around you. There are boat services available too for you to explore the lake area. The only problem is that a lot of forest cover of this region has decreased compared to before due to the construction of various resorts and restaurants.

Site was so good but maintenance zero.....I hate the entrance to the view point..... it's totally nigative vibes, zero maintenance, look like horror place
