Arya Eco Resort, Pobitora

Excellent stay at Arya Eco Resort which happens to be nearest to Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary. The best choice which you can have if you have an early morning safari planned in Pobitora. The room condition was excellent, pretty clean and well maintained. All the amenities like geyser, air conditioner, fans were working as expected. The in-house restaurant serves food of excellent quality, quantity and taste if you make sure to order before hand. You can expect excellent service and complimentary tea/coffee once you reach after long travel. Overall happy and satisfied with my stay. The stay is very peaceful, calm and amidst the nature.

Very good place to stay near Pobitora main gate. Food was good too but you have to order in advance sometimes. Rooms are clean and comfy. At night avoid opening the door with lights switched on, insects may enter in your room. Good ambience friendly hosts. They take bookings for safaris as well with some extra charge. Do check online before talking to them for safari.

We had stayed here for one night after spending 3 nights in Manas. The most useful part of Arya Eco Resort is that this the place which is very close to the entry gate and jeep safari booking counter. We had booked over phone and paid some advance through GPay and on our way from Manas (a drive of about 5.5 hours given the traffic chaos in Guwahati) we had requested the Resort to keep our lunch ready. We reached at about 2PM and after getting a bit of freshen up, we had our simple lunch. The food was delicious and was prepared as per our taste. After having our food, we went for the Safari. There are 4 cottages in the property and when we visited, we were the only guests staying in the property. The room was clean and so also the bathroom with running hot water. Keeping luggage was a bit of problem (we (3 persons) had been travelling for 18 days and good luggage of 3 medium ones with 2 cabin size). We somehow managed. The bed was big enough to accommodate 3 persons in winter time. The resort is very calm and we enjoyed the place. The staff members were very nice and help is on call in the resort. The local manager first suggested that we must take the elephant ride (we were a bit reluctant) to see the beauty of Pobitora from close. He booked our elephant ride (6.15 to 7.15AM) and also accompanied us to the forest office in the morning and helped us to board the elephant. The walk to the riding point is about 20 minutes from the resort and you have to cross the beautiful hanging bridge on the river. After finishing our elephant ride, we got ourselves ready for driving to Guwahati after breakfast. The local manager arranged for a Wagon-R (this is the largest vehicle available in Pobitora) for 3.5K to drop us in Guwahati Airport. People travelling to Pobitora must remember to arrange their vehicle well in advance as Sumos. Xylos, Innovas, etc. are not available in the area. DZire and Wagon-R are available though Alto is always recommended by the local people. Somehow, we managed to load our luggage with the help of the resort staff (with a good deal of permutation and combination). We got immense help from the Resort staff.

I recently stayed at this charming resort, and it was exactly the peaceful getaway I was hoping for. Surrounded by lush greenery, the entire atmosphere felt refreshing and close to nature. The property is beautifully maintained, with landscaped gardens, tall trees, and cozy outdoor seating areas that make it perfect. The staff were warm, polite, and always ready to help. Their hospitality really added to the overall experience. The food is delicious as well.

A safe, comfortable choice of stay near pobitra that you won't regret. The staff is extremely helpful and accommodating, going out of their ways to get us cold coffee in the dead of January. The bonfire is a cozy experience. There are 4 cottages, so you have the right amount of company to hang out with, without getting overwhelmed by the sheer number of people

We had a wonderful stay at this resort for 2 nights for our school reunion. The rooms were comfortable, clean and very well-maintained, making it a relaxing experience for us. The food was delicious with good variety and the service was prompt and friendly by all the staffs. Resort is situated in a peaceful location inside Pobitora WLS and makes it perfect for a quiet getaway. Definitely a great choice if you are looking to relax and enjoy some quality time with friends & family. Thanks to Mr. Rupankar Barua, owner for making sure my experience was great.

We had a great stay at Arya. The food was nice - the room is also pretty good. We had some issues with electricity going but there was backup. The resort is very close to the sanctuary.
