Travelers Hostel by Spirit Adventure Tours and Travels

I recently stayed at Travelers Hostel by Spirit Adventure Tours and Travels in Guwahati, and I had such a great experience! The staff made me feel genuinely welcome they were super friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and felt really safe. The location in Paltan Bazaar is also a big plus. It’s close to markets, food spots, and transport, so getting around was really convenient. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and their local travel tips were actually very helpful. Overall, I had a wonderful stay. I’d definitely come back and I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Guwahati!

I chose this due to its proximity to the railway station and at a walking distance to other bazaars and the river front. The property is in Paltan bazar, well connected by public transport, cycle/auto rickshaws, taxis and quite safe for women. The hostel has basic facilities but the cleanliness and hygiene can definitely be improved. To their credit, I saw them mop the floors, clean the washrooms and try to keep it clean. However, in the duration of my 4 day stay, the wash basins would invariably have pan/gutka spat in without flushing it clean. The room in which I stayed had clean white sheets, pillow covers, clean duvet and comfortable bed but also (gutka?)stained walls and reeked of cigarettes. The washrooms are common for both sexes. There is no hot water in the bathrooms. They've kept an immersion heating rod outside the washroom for anyone who wants to DIY. I didn't need to use it since the weather tends to get fairly warm. They have a small clean kitchen-cum-pantry with a fridge, utensils and cutlery and a moderate-sized dining room. RO drinking water dispensers are kept in many places and is mostly always full. As some other reviews have already mentioned, the entrance to the place is through a basement parking lot. When I stayed, the lift wasn't working and this place is on the 3rd floor, most rooms are on the 4th floor. It is definitely not for the differently abled. Friendly non-intrusive staff.

I had a lovely, relaxing time at this place. It was everything I needed and wanted from a hostel and very new, clean and homely. I was highly impressed with its clean and comfortable rooms and additional facilities. I highly recommend it! The secure and safe environment.

My friend and I stayed here during our Nagaland trip, and we found the hostel’s location, service, and rooms/beds very comfortable. The staff is also extremely friendly and helpful. We had initially booked the dorm only for our arrival in Guwahati, but after experiencing the comfort, we decided to book it again for our departure as well.

Hey Guys, i stayed 1 night in this place. It´s a nice hostel. The rooms are good and prices are reasonable. The staff is very helpful and the hostel is more indien standards clean. There is a common area with some games and the hostel is located next to the railway station.

Close to guwahati railway station , 5 min walk. In bustling area, situated on 3rd floor - mens room are another floor up . Good interiors n neat bathrooms

Stay is pretty decent n comfortable. Suitable for short stays for solo travelling. Need to improve on neatness, especially toilets n bathroom since it's common sharing.

Welcoming staff and behaviour. Also, very helping to guide you the direction of nearby places. Recommendation: Food canteen will be good or food material should be kept which will be chargeable but more convenient for tourist if they entered late in hostel. Like Maggie, coffee, milk, patti, sandwich.
