The Ornate

We visited Ornate Hotel. And the food was good and the service by Bhuyan was exceptional. He helped and listen to our request and attended it very swiftly. The mutton was very nice and rest of the food was pretty nice and tasty. Even the food was not too spicy. Thanks Bhuyan for your service. Keep up the good work.

Stayed here twice during a trip to Assam and Meghalaya... The hotel rooms were decent and functional.. Very attentive staff. Breakfast brunch had wide spread ... South North continental and lots of other healthy options. Our servers, konki, dhanjeet and Utpal were amazing!!

Hotel is nicely located near the market and main view points. But beside a party hall, if there is a marriage or any party , you can hear the clear sound of music from road in the room. The hotel is a boutique hotel but they allow late night parties. We could not sleep whole night due to the noise either from roadside parties or DJ sounds inside the hotel. |If you don’t want to sleep whole night please go ahead and book this place. We tried to change the room but than AC was not working in two of the changed rooms. We had to change thrice and could sleep by 1 am. The hotel has all the amenities like a 3 star hotel but if you are not able to sleep after a tiring travel it is total waste of money. They will help you to change the room but again every room has some or other problem. I will never prefer to stay in this hotel. If the hotel is located at such noisy place or had to arrange so many parties , they should have kept sound proof windows.

I had great experience of Service, guidance and productive pleasant conversations with the GM Jayanta Sir and his team, the services and the overall experience was equally impressive. Being vegetarian the choice & taste of food was excellent. Specially morning my choice of Dosa & Chinese food and punjabi previous day in dinner was our favourite. In addition I must mention that the celebration of Republic Day was absolutely touched my soul(indeed) The hospitality was truly amazing and wish to come again. The overall experience was to be experienced and I had the best one with my family.

I stayed at The Ornate and had a really pleasant experience. The hotel has a modern look from the outside and feels neat and well-maintained inside too. The rooms are clean, cozy, and comfortable, with all basic amenities provided. The washroom was also tidy and well-equipped. The location is a big plus — it’s right in the city, close to ISKCON Guwahati and easy to reach nearby places. The staff was polite and helpful, which made the stay smoother. Overall, it’s a good value-for-money option for a short and comfortable stay in Guwahati

Hosted a family marriage function at the ornate. Must say, each and every staff gave their best to make sure that the event was a great experience. Starting from the front office team to the house keeping team, then the F&B team and finally the admin dept..... everyone gave their 200%. They did not give a single moment to complain about any service. Great great team work. To add on, sharing a expience where a relative lost her bracelet during an event. She found it within 5 minutes of telling it to the service staff in fnb. So i can say that the staffs are very honest and make sure they give their best for the hotel. I am seriously running out of words how to thank everyone in the ornate team for making my damily event a grand success. All the best for future endeavors..

The hotel is very good given the price point. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Staff is very courteous and location has good accessibility. Special thanks to Nayan for his hospitable service.

We had a pleasant stay at The Ornate, Guwahati. The room given was comfortable with basic amenities. The staff were polite and courteous. Their in-house restaurant The Herbs was well kept and the food served was both veg & non-veg, which was well prepared. It was overall a pleasant stay at the hotel.
