I participated in a 10 day Vipassana course in November 2024 at this meditation center after being recommended by a fellow traveller (Note- there are dozens of other sites across the world with a similar foundation element to this one). I signed up in advance online as they only have a certain number of slots, so be aware of this. I won't go into the details of the meditation course here, but safe to say it is a profound and powerful experience for those who truly invest their time, effort, and energy into meditative silence. Instruction was provided in both Hindi and English. Gurus and guides were respectful, considerate, patient, and positive with all. Monkeys frequently scampered on the center ground with Hornbills flying over head. Dorms are a shared affair of the most basic necessities. No phones are allowed for the entirety of the course and are handed in to staff at the beginning. The course is free, although you can give a monetary donation to support future courses for other participants to join. Food is vegetarian. I am not a vegetarian, but the food was more than adequate. From talking with other participants who had completed the course before in India, this location is one of the better ones given its remoteness geographically as well as the smaller number of participants in each group. Regardless of the purpose of participating in such a course, there is growth and learning being done internally that cannot be matched. Wholistically recommended!

I successfully completed my first Vipassana course. It took a lot of courage to join, but I finally did it. I feel fresh, rejuvenated, and have learned so much from the experience (although I still need more time to resolve some remaining doubts). I look forward to attending more courses in the future. The experience was incredible—we felt as though we had been reborn, with a fresh start in life after thoroughly examining and understanding our minds. I encourage you all to take 10 days to dedicate to your mind and yourself—examine it deeply and transform from within. May all living beings be free from suffering, and may all living beings be happy always.🙏

Dhamma Asama is a great place for meditation. Vipasna is one of the most ancient meditation techniques taught by Budha. To learn Vipassana it is necessary to take a 10 days residential course under the guidance of a qualified teacher. The technique of vipasna is a path leading to freedom from all suffering. Vipasna has the capacity to transform the human mind and character. The opportunity is awaiting all who sincerely wish to make this effort

It's so helpful for increase concentration power and many more...but there are also having lacuna..... I have already mentioned in my form that I have severe migraine issue ,but these long time meditation process made me sick ( major headache)...I needed some additional rest..but The guruji totally didn't concern about it...I was faint around for 3 hour in my room nd aftr that she (guruji) didn't even ask me what was happened nd started to yelled me...I was crying nd she didn't have empathy nd patience to listen my condition...How would I follow her further, so I was gave up on it nd left it on 7th day....I totally didn't like the guruji...for me it was harsh experience...
