Silk House

Very expensive. Brought many items and got overcharged for almost all of them. Unfortunately I didn't know I was grossly overpaying for everything. After purchase someone pointed out to me that I overpaid for everything. Then I enquired about it in other nearby stores and it was true! Everything was lot cheaper in other stores. Ps- if you intend to buy multiple items. Bargain for every item individually before deciding to buy them. Otherwise they will just say "price to go jayega frst aap select kijiye" . Don't fall for that trap please. They will charge you inflated price and give a meager discount in the final price . For me it was 0.84 percent of totally bill !!!! Yep . I was just too naive I guess. Never ever will visit this store again.

Beautiful and varieties of Mekhela Sadars are available here. I bought 3 pure paat silk mekhela sador and 2 mix paat silk mekhela sador. Very happy with my purchases

We were running out of time as we had to catch a bus for Siliguri from ISBT and my wife had to buy a mekhla... This place was suggested by few locals for mekhla and we were not disappointed... Huge range of sarees and mekhlas including Assam silk and moga silk... Price range is also varied pocket friendly to expensive...

wanted some assam silk and assam cotton merchandise. after much roaming around, reached here. they had most of the stuff that i was looking for. will definitely recommend.
