Guwahati Bihu Sanmilani

Renowned place in Ghy as many popular events are organised for decades- latasil bihu, durga puja especially quite popular. Located centrally surrounded by Guahati High court, ganesh mandir, dighali pukhuri, handique and cotton collges almost near around. Bus stand is also there, so for travelling by public transport is not difficult.

It is on of the famous field in Guwahati City next to Judge's Field. Easy to notice from the road and easily accessible via city bus as the bus stoppage is right beside the field. Mostly cricket matches, bihu functions, durga puja and protests are organised in this field. Parking available around the field. There are many good places to eat nearby. Overall a well maintained field.

Good place right in the center of the city. Many events are held here.

Playground is well maintenance. It's good for practice and playing any kind of outdoor games...

This is located in Uzanbazar near high court. This Bihu committee is the oldest committee in Guwahati. Here famous bihu competition Bihu Samraggi held every year in 17th April

It is the Oldest Bihu Sanmilan of Assam. Bihu here is a representation of the entire state of Assam, including the different hill tribes and minor communities as almost all dance,music forms are celebrated here. An easily accessible place for family and friends as it is located at the centre of Guwahati,near High Court. The ground is a place for sports all around the year be it football, cricket or any other sport. Most of the people in the Latasil,Uzanbazar area have spend their childhood days playing here.

It's a key place because many other famous places are near to it, for bihu obviously it's a good place to enjoy. But for those who wants to play a good match, I will not suggest this place, the maintenance is very poor, the ground is not even flat, only good thing is the wind, as the river is very near to it.

Latasil is a playground in the Uzan Bazar. The playground, which is a permanent venue for bohag bihu and durga puja celebrations,have donated its name to the area as well. The playground also serves as a coaching center and practice ground for various cricket and football clubs. Many comes here for morning exercise. It's a nice playground.
