The café has a unique theme designed like a railway coach, which gives it a distinctive and appealing look. The interior is well maintained and visually pleasing. The space is slightly congested due to the narrow layout typical of a railway coach, but it is still comfortable enough for a quick meal. The food quality is decent, and the staff are polite and helpful. Overall, it’s a good place to stop by, and I would recommend it if you are at the station.

food is good. But attitude of staff is very bad. We feel like we’re living in their courtyard. Right in the dining area, we can watch the staff tying their hair. Feel disappointed

You can call it a café or a restaurant. It’s better than the nearby food stalls, so you can visit it, but it’s a bit expensive and the food is average. I only had lemon tea, which was just okay—not that good.

Well since I saw This place already on the internet so, wanted to try so when we went there and gave the order first and after We visited this place after seeing it online and were excited to try it out. However, the experience was quite disappointing. We placed our order, but after waiting for more than 30 minutes, we still hadn’t received our food. When we asked the waiter for an update, he casually informed us that the dish we had ordered wasn’t available. This was extremely frustrating, as we had been waiting all that time assuming our food was being prepared. In the end, we just asked them to bring whatever was available. The whole situation felt chaotic, and although the waiter apologized, we received no response or concern from the manager—it seemed like just another day for him. That said, the biryani we eventually got did taste good.

You feel that train vibrationwhen you sit on chair there! Atmosphere feeling are good. But food? Same like how you get in Train! Bought mini thali and biriyani. Mini thali taste was good but biriyani was little better than what we get in Train! And they charged 30rs for packing and if I knew those packing was that coatly, I would have kept it with me and not throwaway! 🤣 Food isn't worth the price and they charge and they take gst extra!

Cafe Golden Feast in Guwahati’s Paltan Bazaar is a unique train-themed restaurant offering a cozy, nostalgic vibe. Located near the railway station, it serves a wide range of South Indian and North Indian dishes at reasonable prices. While the ambience and hygiene are praised,. It's a quirky spot worth checking out for a fun dining experience.

Tried to visit after seeing the unique theme. The aesthetics is nice , congested yet enough space for sitting. But food quality and behavior or manager pathetic. Even after complaining about the burnt french fries, overspilled coffee,, the manager did not bother to even respond, he made the bill directly. Also I lost my ring, no one stepped to help and search. The manager instead asked to not move around much. PS- businesses work when customer is happy !
