Small ferry ghat at the middle of Brahmaputra river. Umananda Temple is close to this ghat. People visit this place to travel to Umananda Temple from Guwahati proper and vice-versa.

A very nice experience of riding in a ferry ⛴. The ferry fare was just 5 rupees. The ferry is very popular in Guwahati for travel to South to North Guwahati. The ferry takes 10-15 minutes from this side to the other side.

Beautiful service! There are timings from dawn upto 9:20 pm after which the ferry service stops. When we were there, we had to wait almost 45 mins and then we boarded the ferry. It was a really swift service. You can park bikes and scooters in the ferry if you like.
