Northeast Ride Best self-drive car and bike rental service in Guwahati I rented bikes Himalayan 450, Classic 350 and Meteor 350. Bikes were in very good condition. I used one bike for more than one month and didn’t face any issue at all. Best price and smooth process. Owner behaviour is very friendly, like a big brother, helpful and genuine. No attitude, no hidden charges. Very reliable service. Highly recommended if you are renting in Guwahati.

I recently took a bike for rent from here for 7 days at a very reasonable price, to travel across guwahati and Meghalaya, It is RE Classic 350, I had no problems with bike. At first I got a bike with rear break issue, then I asked him to replace it and they replaced it with a good condition bike in couple of hours. Just go on a test ride before taking the bike. They offered helmets for both rider and pillion, leg gear, luggage ropes at no extra cost. Loved it!!

We rented 2 Himalayan 450 bikes for 7 days for our Tawang and Madhuri Lake trip, and the experience was excellent. The bikes were in great condition, well-maintained, and perfectly suited for the tough mountain terrain. Pickup and documentation were smooth, and the staff was helpful and responsive throughout the trip. No mechanical issues even on rough roads, which made the journey stress-free. Highly recommended for anyone planning a high-altitude ride.

For my North East ride, I rented a Himalayan 411 for 10 days. I told Dhruba bhai that I was going with my wife alone, so I needed a bike with no issues. He gave me the bike with new tyres, extra brake pads, and an extra chain and sprocket. Believe me, throughout the entire trip I didn’t face a single problem. Thank you so much, brother!

I came across NorthEast Ride on Google maps, and it was a very easy choice for me. The rates were very much affordable! I rented RE Meteor 350, the bike that I was given was running just like new, was very well maintained and had no issues. I had a blast exploring Assam. Would highly recommend anyone to rent out bikes from them 🥇💪

Absolute Nightmare – The Worst Bike Rental Experience in India If you value your time, money, sanity, and your trip — STAY AWAY from NorthEast Ride. This was hands down the most pathetic, irresponsible, and infuriating bike rental experience I’ve ever had in all my years of traveling across India. I booked a Royal Enfield Classic 350 from them two days before arriving in Guwahati. They confirmed it was reserved. But when I landed and called them, they casually told me to come to their office — 12 km from Guwahati Railway Station. After reaching there, they shamelessly said the bike was in the workshop and not ready. No prior update, no apology — nothing. I waited for over 2 bloody hours, and during that time, I saw another poor guy who had booked an SUV from them waiting for 3 hours. Finally, after wasting a huge chunk of my day, they gave me the bike — and rushed me into signing the agreement and handing over the money before even allowing me to check the vehicle. Ridiculous. They charged me ₹4500 for 5 days. The bike wasn’t in good shape — scratches, dull performance — but I had no time to argue. They took my ID card and promised to send the bike’s documents on WhatsApp. They never did. We left for Shillong. • Day 1: No major issues. • Day 2: Cherrapunji, then Dawki — the bike started stalling, the brakes were unreliable. • Day 3: Reached Dimapur and had to get repairs done at a local Royal Enfield workshop. • Day 4: Disaster. On the way back to Guwahati, the bike completely died in the middle of nowhere. I called the rental office over and over — the guy ghosted me. No support, no response, no responsibility. We were stranded. Took an auto to a nearby town, dragged a mechanic back with us. He inspected and found that the engine oil was bone dry, probably never changed in ages. It caused piston failure and engine seizure. The bike needed a full rebuild and 3 days in the workshop. After calling the guy multiple times again, he finally picked up and casually told me to just leave the bike there and take a train or bus back. When I asked for even a partial refund, or reimbursement for pickup, repairs, or return travel, he flat-out refused — as if it was my fault the junk he gave me broke down. This was a complete scam. NorthEast Ride is a joke of a company run by careless, arrogant, and unethical people. Their bikes are poorly maintained, dangerous, and unreliable. Their so-called customer support is non-existent. They’ll take your money, ignore your calls, and leave you stranded without blinking an eye. This rental ruined my entire trip, wasted days of time, and added unexpected costs and mental stress. DO NOT rent from NorthEast Ride. Honestly, you’d have a better trip pushing a bicycle uphill than depending on these clowns.
