Kharguli View Point

Kharguli View Point is a peaceful place with a beautiful panoramic view of Guwahati and the Brahmaputra. It’s a nice spot to sit, relax, and enjoy the scenery, especially during sunrise or sunset when the light and breeze make the experience even better. Along the hillside there are actually many potential spots from where the view can be enjoyed, but quite a few are blocked by residential or commercial buildings, so the open viewpoints are limited to certain areas. The location is calm compared to crowded city areas, making it good for short visits, photography, or just spending some quiet time. Overall, a pleasant viewpoint and worth stopping by if you are in the area.

Though the viewpoint was breath taking i couldnt help but notice alot of plastic waste. If only there were garbage bags around for proper disposal of waste it would have been even more beautiful

Located atop Kharguli hills, it gives a beautiful panoramic view of Brahmaputra straddling the hillock to it's north. Also, the town of Guwahati can be seen towards the south. Aa such Kharguli hills is a posh locality in northern Guwahati and the drive up the hills provide a scenic view of the humungous Brahmaputra from different points.

Nice place to visit. It having good view of Brahmaputra bank. In some distant we have our Governor house which Raj Bhavan.

It's not a prominent recognised tourist spot. Casual visits can be made, but panned trips are not required

Beautiful hill-top giving you a scenic view of the river. The road is quite steep but the climb is worth it.
