Chakreshwar Temple

Chakreshwar Temple in Guwahati is a peaceful and beautifully maintained spiritual spot overlooking the Brahmaputra. The temple complex has a serene ambience with impressive idols of Lord Shiva and other deities, and the large peepal tree adds a calm, sacred feel. The riverside view from the top is stunning, especially during sunrise and sunset. The place is clean, spacious, and good for a quiet visit or meditation. Stairs are a bit steep, but overall it’s a peaceful and refreshing place to explore.

Another wonderful shrine in Guwahati wherein you can see Lord Vishnu in an unusual from... won't divulge to spoil the surprise but worth visiting....at the back side are the other idols and bhramaputra flowing beside

Sacred temple on the banks of Brahmaputra. Serene place with cool natural breeze of the great river. Many idols are installed around the place.

Wowww such calm and peaceful place , but they don't keep it clean as dust lingers in every part of the temple!!! Do maintain cleanliness otherwise i loved the view and mandir ❤️

It's a nice experience entering the temple. The sculptures are perfect & so realistic. Inside is beautiful with the view of river Brahmaputra.
