Food was great. Fish N’ Fries - ₱289 - Personally never tasted fish and fries (or chips) before but this one tasted really good. Fish has a crispy coating and it was juicy enough, not dry. Fries were thick, it tasted decent but it’s perfectly paired with the dip. Beef N’ Corn Sizzler - ₱289 - Beef pared with corn was a perfect combination, especially with the sauce. Sisig - ₱289 - Savory but spicy (for me) One of the must-trys here. Barely tried the Crispy Pata but it’s really crispy and flavorful, so it’s a must-try especially on your first time. Overall, atmosphere was nice, lots of signed plates by popular figures I assume. Nice decorations— lively restaurant, it’s perfect for celebrations.

Found this place as I was looking for a place we could try in Naga on our way back from our Bicol road trip. What a disappointment the food was, despite the high ratings and recommendations on reddit. I hope we just ordered the wrong food even though 2 of the items we ordered are under the specials. - Sizzling tofu: its ok - kinunot : 1st time trying. It’s ok, i have nothing to compare it with. - Crispy Bicol expr: few crispy bits of pork. Tragis walang malasahang Gata at puro kamatis. - Beef kaldereta: The biggest disappointment of them all. Tastes like the cheap kaldereta (despite not being cheap) na puro slurry at di malasahan ang nuttiness. Wont survive without the bagoong.

It was a Thursday, so just the normal chatter and traffic noise. Weather was cool, food (crispy PATA) was superbly cooked. Beers were cold. Staff were mostly friendly and helpful.

I honestly do not understand how this place has the reviews that it does. It IS a fun place, but the food is mediocre to poor! The crispy pasta was good, but not great by anty means. It is a twice cooked pig leg. Bobs is a front leg, not the richer hind leg served at places like Kuya J. Seasoning seems to be limited to salt and garlic as opposed to whispers of anise, ginger and chili at Kuya J. Sadly, this was the best dish of the evening. Laing DID have a good amount of oil (a good thing) but it was ONLY cooked with oil, no silky creamy coconut milk. ONLY oil and was VERY dry and not cooked soft I believe the Lumpia were machine made, NOT made "in house". They were served as dark as mahogany. The pork filling was dry. I am almost certain that the sinagang was made with a powdered mix, but the salmon belly was fresh and had great greens. The worst dish of the evening was the Corn and beef. It was completely inedible! The did consisted of a few ounces of (probably) flank steak which could have been a good thing because it is a flavorful but tough cut of meat. It can be made better by cutting across the grain, and by velveting with corn starch and baking soda. It takes only a few seconds, but was NOT done. It was not made into a beef tapa or a beef teriyaki. The sole seasoning was SOY SAUCE! You could not even taste garlic, pepper, brown sugar or any other seasoning! JUST soy sauce. The beef was added to a super salty salty brown "gravy" and CANNED corn was added as the"feature" It took no skill to prepare this disgusting mess. The Leche flan did not taste like a rich eggy custard. It tasted and had the texture of a mix based on karageenan. There was no "caramel" on the bottom. As bad as the food is, the reason to go to Bob Marlin is to hang out with friends, and the atmosphere IS good. And the cook could not screw up bottled beer, but I don't doubt that he might try. Go, have a good time, but eat before you go!

Courteous and friendly staff. I suggest instead of getting the family set order individually for the food you want it will be roughly the same or even cheaper in our experience. Don't worry regarding the serving of their rice platter because of the satisfactory amount for 1 order. Also try their bilao set to diversify further your experience and this also serves a generous amount of rice. I also recommend taking brunch to avoid influx of customers during lunch time. Parking is a little issue but you cab safely park along the road.

The place was packed with diners when we arrived even on a weeknight. There was a waitlist so we waited to be seated. The restaurant has an indoor area with AC and an open- air outdoor area. The server said the turnover rate of diners is usually faster on the outside. So we grabbed the chance when one of the tables outside became vacant. We ordered their bestseller on the menu- the crispy pata. We also had salmon belly sinigang, grilled marlin and pinangat. Food was good. No wonder this place is always full whenever we visit Naga. The only downside was, their toilet was dirty and wet.

Food is great but service is very poor. We were given limited food choices and waited 30 minutes only to find out while we’re seated that our order isn’t available as well. The manager on shift doesn’t even apologize for the discrepancy of their service thus I won’t recommend the restaurant.
